dandelion clock,
whispers dreams into the breeze,
wishes take their flight.

O’ Lord most high, whose hands dost shape the skies,
Thou art the light where all our shadows lie.
In thee, our hopes doth find their sacred rest,
Thou know’st the yearnings of each trembling breast.

Flourish, O’ Lord, her soul with endless grace,
Her heart, a garden, let thy light embrace.
Thou hast made her splendid, pure as dawn’s first gleam,
Yet now, O’ Lord, fulfill her every dream.

Bestow upon her, life’s sweet gentle flow,
Take not her years, but let her spirit grow.
With every breath, may joy within her rise,
And let her gaze reflect thy endless skies.

Bless her with beauty that outshines the sun,
Forgive her faults, for they are all but done.
Grant her, O’ Lord, a bounty rich and wide,
Where grace and mercy forever shall abide.

Give unto her the strength to walk the earth,
To chase her dreams with ever-glistening mirth.
Endow her with the wisdom to discern,
So in her heart, thy eternal fire shall burn.

Let not her hands be barren of desire,
Give unto her the wealth her soul requires.
For in her joy, thy love shall be confessed,
Her gratitude, in praises, shall be blessed.

And when this fleeting life has run its course,
Grant her, O’ Lord, thy heavenly reward.
In thy embrace, may she forever dwell,
In thy light, where peace and joy do swell.

O’ Lord, I offer thee these prayers sincere,
Let not my tears and hopes be drowned in fear.
Thou art the witness to all hearts that fall,
And through thy grace, we rise and stand tall.

For Thou, O’ Lord, art mighty, just, and true,
In every breath, we turn our trust to You.
The greatest helper, when the world is weak,
In Thee alone, our solace we shall seek.

Thy evening candle’s flicker glows like stars at night
Through gentle breezes borne by evening’s smoke
Debris left by day’s fierce returning flare
Best known in twilight’s tending, hidden care
From dawn to dusk the candle endures,
Once belonged to the man who’d take walks by the shores
For his imprint on the earth is forever spoke
By the chirps of the birds and melted wax on the floors
Of mother earth’s grassy plains
And in the memories of those who by his passing have been torn
Though unspoken wishes remain,
Once let by his tongue, in the rain he adored.
Clinging desperately onto the wind that carries
Until his words are lost in thy golden flame,
And his speech gone in dust by it’s own accord.

If I had known when our last day was going to be, would I have lived that week differently?
Realistically, yes.
But only because I would have been panicking.
So let's not be realistic.
Let's be idealistic.
If I had known then what I know now…
I would have read to you.
I would have read until my throat was sore because I know how much you wanted to be home with a book.
I would have turned on all your favorite music. We would have streamed a thousand movies. Anything you wanted to see. I would have brought you anything you wanted to eat or drink.
I would have asked 5 billion questions and written it all down. I would have recorded your voice so I never forget the sound. We would have recounted our best memories and I would have asked you, how am I supposed to move on without you. I would have written your memorial and read it aloud so you knew what it would say…
I told you “I love you” five-thousand  times a day. But I would have said it five-thousand and one just to be safe.
If only I had known.
Little hybrid prose poem I wrote that makes me cry whenever I try to edit it so I'm releasing it into the wild.
I don't regret any time I spent with my dad, but losing him so unexpectedly has forever changed me.

I wish I were a bird.
Smart and independent,
Free and liberal.
No rules to respect,
No one to neglect.

I would fly as far as my eyes can see;
I would live for as long as I wish to be,
Known to place foot on this earth
For the freedom I wish to unlock.

But I'm stuck in a cage,
With wings I can't yet claim;
Watching my friends fly through the storm,
Not realizing things will take a turn.
Idk I just want to be free ig

An eyelash fell on my cheek today
And without much thought I flicked it away
No wishes to be made
No games to be played
Just like my old eyelash
I floated away
Imagination
Desire
Destiny
Love
Peace
Happiness
Ambition
Success
Gift
Wealth

Thou steppedst into this world with a purpose,
And it's by HIS Grace for Glory,
Each moment HE hath led thee in HIS Care,
All thro' thy twenty years HE kept thee in HIS *****,
Each thought in thy mind is HIS Grace,
Each word thou uttereth is by HIS Power,
Each deed of thine is HIS Will to do,
And thy breath in thee is HIS Gift to seek Eternity.
Thou hast travelled twenty milestones in HIS Care,
And on this day thou hast steppedst into thy 21st milestone on earth,
That thou shall be in HIS Love till reaching Eternity.
And so, thou shall walk in His Footsteps ever,
And HE is God in Christ JESUS WHO is the ONLY WAY into Eternity.

Times to reminisce
Promises deceased
A new born hope
In its wishful steps
Frolicked to future
No time to rest

Dreams to seek
Promises to keep
Wishes unfulfilled
Uncertainty is a treat

Each day unveils
The calendar’s fate
Charming or tedious
Never to know
A delight,  it can be

Unkept promises
Tug at the heartstrings
Wishes and dreams
Have no expiration dates
Timeless unbound
Like the eternal springs
