Have you ever cried and couldn't stop?

Maybe your chest hurt and you couldn't understand why?

You try to talk, but no one to listen?

Crave not only a voice, but the warmth of someone who cared?

You are not alone, for I too, am with you.

I live
for the silence
in the wild

the order
amidst the chaos
a beat of truth

when everyone
knows something
about life

understanding
it's brittle
but warm

Warmth-
Thatโ€™s how Iโ€™d describe this feeling of living.
A permanent state of embrace,
A relaxing of being into what just is.
It is self explanatory,
No question or spectrum of its nature.
It surrounds you,
It is infectious,ย ย
It is pure love.
At moments I can feel it surround my being,
Radiating from my physical body-
Encapsulating,
Like the place from which I was birthed,
My mother and the Mother Earth.
I return home to her embrace,
Comforting my child self with her entirety
She washes over me like the wave of an ocean flooding my veins with love
She pumps into my heart and around my body
I feel you Mother.
I have returned to you even if just for a moment
I know you are within me I just have to open my eyes
And as I close them I see you.
I thank you for every moment even though I feel like I forget,
I know that I am.

We feel cold from the earth's suffering
Numb from the sadness and pain
Seeking warmth from a hopeful spring
Begging the universe for refrain

So much agonizing in the darkness
It's so chilly without the light
My dear ones feel the bitterness
Frozen hearts and hands from the fight

We crave a glimpse of the sunshine
A ray of calm calling our names
Seeking reprieve with the divine
Our arms lock as we approach the flames

A fire of hope and joy and peace
We warm our heart and hands
We embrace as the sorrows cease
Love thawing while light withstands
My heart has been aching for so many family members and the world. The bad news doesn't seem to end and I feel helpless sometimes. I kept feeling frozen and this poem came to me today.

Constellations

A roadmap of our galaxy,
Intricately placed to create the Orion belt
introduces  the --
Taurus and Draco.

Discovered: given
Names and epithets that act as
bandages of history and hope;
pillars of the past, broken and shattered;
not only good memories do the constellations hold.

A roadmap millenniums aged
and still cryptic, enigmatic.
There for the fall of the Roman Empire:
A witness of the fallen bodies and cracked glass
human hearts of Auschwitz.

Constellations: surrounded by onyx, stars doctoring the constellations,
creating stories -- undiscovered and renewed.

A galaxy of muted midnights, murky blues,
darkened purples, vibrancy and life present one day,
muted and cloaked in obsidian
The next.

when hands meet,
the world heals...
veins intertwine
and survival becomes certain.

Golden is her laugh
To welcome friends near and far
Kindness is her strength

New day, new haiku!
Feeling slightly better but I'm making sure I dont overdue it.
Hard to believe that this poem marks my 960th poem too! Just wow!
Now for the last of the young Charites, children of Hephaestus and Aglaia [aka Kharis, one of the three Charites].

This is Philophrosyne, Goddess of Welcome, Friendliness and Kindness.
Again, not much on her but I see her as someone who also possesses childlike qualities, just wanting to see the best in everyone and everything. Making friends all over the world, and she treasures them deeply. This is based on some people I know in my day to day life.
Despite how cruel the world is, I still believe in the power of kindness...but I've learned to be cautious with it, as when people see kindness they may take advantage. Ive learnt this the hard way and I think I've gotten better at establishing boundaries with said kindness too.

Be kind but also dont be afraid to set boundaries. Welcome people from all over the world as you have friends you have yet to meet!
Anyway, thank you all for growing followers, I'm forever humbled and grateful for the support ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’œ

Why would anyone ever let you go?

When summer breeze isn't even a match for your warmth and tenderness.

More lovable than the sun at the sunrise.

Sometimes the flame is too hot to touch, and then I'm hiding under the tree.

But your figure won't fade, nor rough winds make you decayed.

Like a flower that's waiting for its bee,
your presence is the only one anyone would want to see.
Meeting you at time like this feels like meeting summer in the middle of December

sweet and mellow
she once was
no bitterness within her
at least that's what they thought

as young as the night
as free as she seemed
only one in her lifetime
she had lived what she dreamed

the sun was her scent
the stars were her eyes
the moon was her bloom
she was one of a kind

her touch so warm
it made their hearts melt
her words of white lies
made them feel what they never felt

sweet and mellow
as she always had been
was there loneliness within her?
she hid it well in her skin

and as young as the night
though as free as she seemed
only once in her lifetime
had she lived what she dreamed
