Safe in my harbor,
docked with you...
assured my heart,
was safe with you.

My turn came to take the crew,
time to part from the dock and you...
looked at you sideways,
but was forced to steer away.

Thought you would lift your hands,
and stop me from sailing by...
thought you would rush to me,
riding past the rough waves...

Felt your pain as you tried to break away,
your agonised look when the ropes didn't give away...
you grimaced and I felt the tremor in you,
as I took every step away from you.

Not so sure when we would meet again,
We would if the storms are kind...
I will brave the winds and the storms,
to rush to your side as soon as i can...

Wishing for another crew,
sail you en route...
What more can I do,
except wishing you would join.

The wait is inevitable,
The wait is frustrating...
The wait is intolerable,
The wait chokes me...

Wish we're merged on our sides,
that way we can move side by side...
Be it morning, be it night,
life would be fun with you be my side...

sunbathing on a sunny day,
fighting the waves on a stormy day,
not caring if the sun dries us,
or when the rain soaks us,
or when the wind tosses us...

Together we will stand proud,
like a flag at full mast...
fluttering with joy,
Gulls bellowing by....

Wish we're merged on our sides,
that way we can move side by side...
Be it morning, be it night,
life would be fun with you be my side.

On All Poetry at her behest, I had created an account...
And this is one one of my poems which I had posted there...

How Are You,
My Love?
I Long For You,
Today, Every Day!

I Have Not
Met You Ever,
So I Long For You!

Soon We Will
Meet In Your City,
The Idea Captures Me!

If I die on my bed
Let it be said
That I was an incomplete head
Who awaited his death.

Wait
Please stay
Create
Long days
Lost
Without you
Cost
Feeling blue
Love
Is strange
Above
World rearranged
Wait
Please stay
Captivate
Make away
Afraid
You'll leave
Blade
Long sleeves
Blood
I'll grive
Flood
I'll cleave
Wait
Please stay
Devastate
Love, forever & a day

This love of mine, fatally wounded,
It will wait for you in agonizing patience,
For the pages of your life to flip, right to left,
Enduring the days until you finally see who truly loves you.

This is not a boast of arrogance, but a commitment of facts;
Hands clasped together and heart restrained with crystal chains, I have walked with you through tormentuous chasms and clifftops.

I am the one for you, the only one, because all others would have blown away like straw in the wind.
No other man has seen the depths of your heart as I have.
None person has fathomed the twinkling starlight in your eyes, the portal to your glimmering spirit.

So I'll wait for you as the fires of hell hollow me within,
Burning me up, becoming tortured for your sake.
For you I will wait, to claim your heart...
To give you mine...
**For love
Love is a rare and dangerous creature
That only shows face when the time is right now
Lust is a complimentary feature
Which keeps lovers guessing til both settle down

Not to say everyone settles for less
Love doesn't lie, but it leaves room for choice
Those who are willing to give it their best
Keep Lust in its place and let Love be the voice

Love is adaptable, constantly changing
It morphs and it breathes like a woman or man
Lust is impassible, always deranging
It puts up a wall and masks what it can

Nobody knows what happens to Love
When distance requires the mind to have faith
And stare at the images Lust conjures up
Alluding ideas of mistrust and distaste

Isn't it better to let Love be free?
To keep it confined would just let it die
Allowing the chains for which Lust has the key
To govern the feelings of comfort and pride

Be free, my love, to run through the brush
But always remember where you were at peace
And hurry on back when you've had enough
For I may not be here when your venture has ceased
The duality, everchanging
and yet
I need you
a leaf a flower the wind
bring me back to you
you appear
you rise in my mind
suddenly
inevitably
unavoidably

and yet
the sun has risen and set
the flowers have faded and blossomed
without our voices
could recognize themselves
without our eyes
could fascinate themselves
symbiotically
united in another place

and yet
you were there
you are there
you'll be there
our lines confused and indivisible
oblivion
hopeless fight against myself
it is a perpetual magic
transposition of reality

and yet
I wait
I wait for you
in our secret garden
where only you can go in
just you have the key
where
silently
I love you

Things may seem rough right now but then all of the sudden you are at graduation screaming to the songs you listened to when you were sad in middle school

Things will start to look up
