It’s a virtue that everyone sees as really worth praising
The valiant efforts put forth as the reason for succeeding
All can certainly see its value and it’s why they put heart
Especially when the outcome can be compared to an art
But what happens if it seems to fail to deliver?
When what you thought simply falls short of the result it can muster?
Doubts start to gather and you ask what was missed or went wrong
Knowing deep inside that the motive was sincere and the drive was strong
Is the end result really what tells whether or not it was truly tough?
Many will say so even adding that maybe it was mere bluff
It’s so quick to put blame when one decides to withdraw from it all
Not even thinking what happened in between or what took its toll
Times simply change and with it, this alone may be obsolete
Which is why what’s expected may come incomplete
Tis not to say that the virtue itself no longer has any value
It just needs to be joined by newer methods and begin anew
Recalling those times when it succeeded in what could seem small
A point to remember that by such fact it can make one stand tall
It can still pay off but maybe not in the way that might be expected
What’s unforeseen could be friend or foe it’s worth being noted
Alone it may not last and it should not be ignored
Passion, cleverness and many others can help make a mightier cord
Constant turmoils need more than one virtue as times get rough
Evidently shown when hard work itself is just not enough.

Never before,
Rain drenched so pleasing
Moon appeared so angelic
Soil smelled so alluring
Air passed so graceful
Sky floated so beautiful
Calmness felt so sublime
Never before

Silence exists
In coded virtue
Reflected a new dimension

Sometimes, it looks like lenience.

Small passes for big faux pas.

Many believe that it's absolution

Locking themselves in boxes periodically

To cry out, bleeding painful catharsis.

Some sneak it in with charity

Use compassion as a puppet in their mercy show

Throw underhanded in the name of grace.

Some offer it when they're bruised and broken

Spit out blood, then turn the other cheek.

Others give it away with full bellies and warm hands

Either out of purity

Or some nefarious need, pushed down deep.

And I wonder and wander all the while

For I am the fool

Who begs to receive

But can not give.
A prompt from my 'Write This Poem' book. Any guesses what 'it' is?

i am gloriously indulgent
when left to my own devices
lashings of stylish fulfillment
in a mix of virtues and vices

i have my sense of order
though i am craven to desire
drunk with a sense of beauty
to torch blandness in a fire

poor dear mediocrity
your time is not with me
you are my sworn enemy
find others for company

i burn for what is art
and those, who do it for love
they are my choice of company
together, we'll rise above

This is just how I feel.

The constant vacillation around decisions that bind
The eternal struggle between heart and mind
Choose your virtues, and let them serve you
They may not confine you, but they will define you

Rise above in courage and faith
Stand your ground, bite no bait
A circle smaller, but what does it matter
True friends you acquire, unhand the admirer

You'd do away with all things shallow
If you are to rest easy on your pillow
The sun will shine bright in the morrow
And you'd rise again to be your hero

Hear me shriek and hear me scream
All you listen to my dream
Let me tell you what is right
Who to praise and who to fight

None that stray should stay alive
On your vindictiveness I thrive
Goddess of virtue for mercy pleads
Then with cruelty strikes her enemies

I am justice, you're depraved
Challenge me to dig your grave
Listen closely, believe my eyes
Not your own, they're telling lies

Up is evil, down is good
Strike them for me as you should
Hell laughs every time I cry
Those who disagree should die!
Self-appointed arbiters of absolute justice only ever bring misery.

Your time will come slowly,
For now you must let the empty space taunt you.

Your grass will grow slowly,
For now you must plant the seed in the baron land below you.

Your heart will beat slowly,
For now you must tap the drum softly beside you.

Your love will heal slowly,
For now you must be patient and watch the tide take away the pain that troubles you.

A patient man is a judicious wolf.
Sometimes Patience Is The Key To Vigilance
Her impression of love
was nothing but...
A bar less prison
Sad!
She had a hateful
Perception ov love
A dead fateful lie
Cold as a sarcophagus...

How wrong she was
To think *** was love
And love was ***...
My ex...

Her mother would die for her
But she had never
Laid her down
On a bed of pleasures of the flesH
For true love
Isn't sensually sentimental
But unconditional.

She was wrong yet so strong
With legs wide open
Weakened by desire
She gave it away...

Her perception of
love was nothing but lust
And trust which left her in the dust
And she always thought
love didn't last
Cuz she was lost
So she lost
Something he needed
on the honey moon!
Sometimes we should do *** the right way, the right time, with the right partner. Virtue is always way better than make up or the sexiest outfit.

Humble on a mirror
Is something you won’t find
Because humble is a virtue
That people hide inside
