I love the curl of your lips into a smile
I love the curve of your shoulders as they drop down
I love the pools and dips of your neck, where you could hide your secrets
I love the softness of your eyes, that invite me in
I love your strength,
I love the curls of your hair- you should be proud to be blessed with them
I love how soft your skin feels
I love how I can sometimes catch a glimpse of your muscles peeping through that beautiful casing of skin
I love your teeny tiny waist,
I love the strength and curvature of your ribs
I love your acne-marked skin that's simply evidence that you are growing and expanding as a person.

-- About time I wrote something about the person I should love most of all: ME.

to say I am lost would be to imply that, at one point, I was present.
My presence was ignored from the time I crawled the floors,
feelings inside developed into sores
boring onto my soul scars.
My father, my guide, idolised in mind.
They say love is blind but
when eyes open and you find monsters, sponsors of crime
doing time for an easy dime,
can you carry that love on
or does that one idol burn?
I am lost or
rather never found, no guide by my side,
just going with the tide and building walls, to keep these feelings back,
that torment my mind.
The foundries of feeling’s forges have gone cold, Shut away and barricaded
by un-shaken walls.
So I wander, in search of myself,
I wonder
if I’ll be found or
if I’m bound for a battery of life:

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take  
Regret
The feeling that makes your stomach ache
Regret
There’s no way to shake
Regret
You can try to change until you’re blue in the face
Regret
No steps back in time
No second chances
Regret
Go with your gut
No regrets

Take that shot
No regrets
  Be yourself
No regrets
Stand out proudly
No regrets
No hesitation no second-guessing go for it all
No BS’ing
Climb the mountain
Take that homerun swing
Just remember this one little thing
No regrets

Go big or go home   In whatever you do
Don’t let that feeling overcome you
Because once you do it will hold on tightly  
It will weaken us all even the strong and mighty
And so I leave you with this please don’t forget  
Live life to the fullest
No regrets

The choices you make define you
The past is who you are
But don’t let that confine you
To not going far

Mistakes, they serve a purpose
Just like sadness and pain
They are all reminders
Of what not to do again

So make your past a good one
So that when you’re frail and old
With your family gathered around you
A marvelous story can be told

Whatsoever things are lovely , think upon these.
Having the mentality to differentiate fully
And having the egocentricity to separate
The wheat from the common chaff
Silicate or sand from a priceless diamond
Or the simplest act of kindness of a Samaritan
Even when all your five senses are tested
Visit that sixth sense , that gut feeling to see.
Each and every element to the smallest atom
Registers on your inbuilt Richter scale

That with good taste and selective education
Having been able to weight up the pros n cons
Intelligence accumulated over a few years or so
Nothing slips through the net.  Or cybernetics
Google will see to that in the blink of an eye.
So whatever things are lovely. Think of those

And go of to sleep at night like an innocent
Reactions not influenced by the course of day
Exercise your brain to think of lovely things.

Lakes of serenely calm waters , sailing craft
Or of a majestic pair of black swans and signets
Velvet cushions housing your beautiful jewels
Every loving keepsake your partner has granted
Lilies of the valley displays upon mothers table
Your grandmothers smile as she reads to you

Things that are lovely, think upon these things
Have not a care for the state of the Nation
It is not in our individual remit to be involved
No only worry about where you have control.
Know that if you have the power to fix it

Usually you fix it , without procrastinating
Procrastination is the thief of time. So act.
On those odd occasions where you fail to act
No points are added it’s a diminishing return

The task is never as tough as you thought
Having opted to think of the beautiful things
Each mindset that you have is sweet smelling
Smelling like a nosegay in an English garden
Excite your mind and think upon these things
So , my friend learn from my humble experience

Sometimes the darkness
Makes it hard for me to smile
And see the light in things
That's why I look to the moon and the stars
And see how they constantly shine
Through the darkness

It is our duty and our right,
As those who learnt to fight.
To fight for the voiceless,
To defend the defenseless.
To ensure the world we leave,

To ensure that our daughters,
To ensure that our sons,
Never once in their lives,
Have to take up a gun.
