guns, unseen enemy
"Unseen" replaces hidden, but easily a synonym fitting my thought about guns.   This was originally published in Modern Haiku.

If my heart could fly,

I’d break it’s wings,

Flee any hurt,

specifically the ones caused by me.

I’d use it so much, it’d begin to destruct,

familiar irony of my existence, and in place for its absence,

I’ll leave behind a fragile piece of mine essence

If my heart could fly, I’d never let myself belong to another

not again…

not again will I trust,

I will never trust that you wanted me here,

our love unconditional, a mere fantasy, over-looped and overplayed,

my welcome,over-stayed.

your world was never supposed to be a hotel staff, that hosted my stay

you made it very clear, my ticket of reckon is uninspired

letting me know it’s time,

time that i left your humble empire.

I never expected your love for me would spoil,

a car neglected, i never changed the oil, fixed the flat on the tire,

so on this love i’ll fly and retire.

never again will I trust. I’ll flap my wings and leave the next, so quick like i taught myself

that’s right steady and fast, never looking back, foot on gas.

anything in my grips seems to fly anyway, it never lasts.

I’d break it’s wings before it left me, and keep it in my arsenal,

for days my propellers lose fuel,

If my heart could fly , I’d give a better reputation to the foolish mule.
Night couldn't come fast enough for you.
I spoke using pearls but all you saw was me,
For what was outside .
You said **** my intent ,
You just want what's outside.
Little did you know that inside me
There is a heart that longs for yours.
Deeply I must confess you body it is the best.
Of all beings id ever layen eyes on.
Unlike your poems which remain unseen.
Your personality it beams.
More radiant then the star which feeds light to plants,
And it more meaningful to me.
But all I see in you you can't see.
For this my eyes pour out salty seas.
It because your mind is clouded by society.
Well your beautiful to thee,
DysFuckstional creep.
Like nirvana it's always about a girl

I lose myself
I've lost everything that I love
I wonder why I deserve all of this
Did I deserve this?

Nights that I've been through
You've crossed between stars that I looked every night
I miss you
I do really miss you

It's been 8 years that we haven't met
I lose myself for nothing
I don't believe what I've become
In the end, I've only got myself to blame

The world that I've been fighting with
Won
Against me
A shameful defeat

Once I thought that life is too beautiful to ruin me
But truth has spoken
Life doesn't want me
Me...

Unrecognized..
Unseen..
Unheard.

the pain

the pain that you feel,
but can’t touch.
a pain you know of,
but can’t explain.
a pain so fierce
you go insane
the unknown pain
that clutches you heart
and burns in your soul
the pain
in your life
too strong to carry on
the unknown pain
that clouds your mind
and devours every thought
the pain of broken promises
broken dreams
the pain
that’s unheard of
the pain that’s
not seen

do you think
cloaks of normalcy

societal smiles
wash away reality -

that screens pulled close
pious veils drawn

means all is well -

that children next door
from 'respectable' homes

aren't used like so much spoil
displayed with polish

to the highest bidder -

what tales do you keep
to sleep at night

in perfumed air -

'it's far away
some hapless child

not where I drive
with tinted glass

they're lower class
don't know the Lord

mere runts down town
where father drinks

can't pay their rent
make decent wage

so sell the kid
for sordid nights -

- n - o -
it happens

to tender buds
in wealthy
suites

and poorer shacks
in any
place

and every age
from dot to
grown

they stay unseen
stare at their
sums

are ***** this night
sob off to
sleep

as mother too
walks right on
by

deaf to the screams
he wants his
due

so he will take
her brother
too

'now be a man'
says worm to
prince

he lies to all
most to his
face

and no one sees
and no one
hears

the silent screams
with veil drawn
close

they look askance
and walk on
by
I welcome responses to this poem which is aimed at revealing the culture of silence in 'polite society' - this outpouring of outrage at abuse has been boiling for some time but this poem was sparked off in response to PaganPaul's important and raw poems on this topic

Aubade

It is till season and morrow anew
once winter flower resin gown grew...
Fleeting birds that churp
humming seasons oh reveal at might
gleem Prom outer beetin eyes
sight window dawn
shall hail to you dear sir!

Ballad
Human do tell more then stars
Tower blocks sight
Lamps that make moon & mars
races fountain of light
coming back you will, see!
When I grow up
inferno hold embue fee
touch laces & cup
Belief and breath tide wake
Everything steels to stoop
I leave and fall for sea
& the ships heart
dicontented we knew
Note are grav/D/{en}
Behold,
the paradise
beyond,
where you
see the
sun, and
It's light
only
reflects
the fairer
In radiance,
where
In the
deepest
silence,
As the
light
behind
a cloud,
you
rise to
the places
unseen
