I have often been criticized for my seeming lack of motivation and drive
But I am content with celebrating beauty as it enters the world
And mourning the same beauty as it leaves this world.
Do not mistake my apparent lack of outward motivation for laziness.

I imagine you in a white dress;
Like an elegant tree as we caress
With eyes of mischievous hazel and green
You bless every wild dream.

You’re far away
But I can still feel everything
Your face beneath my palm, your shapely silhouette
You turn my breath to sea breeze.

Beauty both magical and divine
Your back’s an artwork, and arms sublime.
Your hair just glows under the sunset
That gentle smile, I can’t forget.

I want you, and I need you
I want you, and I need you
I want you, and I need you
I want you, and I need you.

Wash over me like the sea
Waves of pleasure from hip to knee
Feel the earth fall beneath your feet
And rise when our eyes meet.

This is the poem or short version of the song I wrote. The date has been changed here from 19th-21st May as I edited this version just now for those who prefer a short version.

This piece is designed to make the reader feel at peace and exercise their imagination. More detailed notes can be found on the original song version :)

I got side tracked by something else and ended up writing the first verse last night, hence the date stating a 2 day writing period ^
The inspiration behind this song is partly Cliff's Edge by Hayley Kiyoko and a previous poem I'd written which doesn't have an easy a rhythm as this song.
I hope the simple use of words (and instruments in the future) allow the reader/listener to feel peace and tranquillity and experience a steady, easy heartbeat <3

There were ripples of the sparkling stream.
The crystalline water was mirroring the blue sky.
That befriended with the sun’s wonderful beam.
Beams of the dazzling looking golden eye.

The background was overflowing with mountains.
Mountains with snowcapped peaks,
Their attainment of such exquisiteness is a real arcane.
What is it above the sky that they seek?

The eagles were gloating about their wings.
O! How marvelous they were to glance upon!
Thrushes flew above the river as they sing.
Grazing on the grassland was a cluster of fawn.

There I saw the elderly yet strong fisherman.
Flinging his lure in an elegant technique.
Attracting catfish and trout as much as he can,
While sitting on the boulder beside the flowing creek.

The loveliness of the lotus was luring me,
Positioned silently on the cerulean water.
The white arrowhead was charming as she could be,
Her petals were diminutive as they always were.

Far away, I saw a grandiose tall tower.
Its peak was reaching for the high heavens.
He stood there taking delight over his power,
Amazed all travelers every now and then.

The heavens above exposed a band of colors.
Little time, after the floating dark skies cried.
I then assumed that our life is filled with squalors.
But don’t worry because later they are all bright.

After the drizzle, dews sat calmly on the grasses.
Scarcely and leisurely moving towards the ground,
The sunlight coalesces with the dew with tender caress.
How luxurious they looked wearing the golden crown!

The children played alongside the river in pleasure.
Girls were collecting flowers to make tiaras and garlands,
While boys were skipping stones on the tranquil water
Their little footprints placed themselves on the loose sands.

And I was assembled comfortably on the greens.
Beside flowed the river without paying any notice.
It cleansed all of my hopelessness and spleen.
Therefore I slept on the nature’s lap with internal peace…

I stand by a tiny lake,
nights fine just about cool enough.
Mesmerizing ripples play
a fine refrain,
on a Divine instrument,
being strummed by a being unknown.

Senses stand on the edges,
as Bacchus takes effect.
Its a cheap liquor,
but it will do just fine.
The darkness and me.

Stillness of water interrupted,
now a flip of a mermaids fin ,
a rainbow glint on her sinuous ***,
pale gold of her rising ******* illuminate the dark,
water and spreads in tiny threads,

A new moon rises,
its cool rays
outline the nearby glades,
silent observers
to my solitary pleasures,

A splash made by a frog nearby
adds  gentle rhythm,
to the slow music,
ripples caress the wet shore

I can spend a lifetime
watching the waves.

A souls purpose of being here
is to watch the waves.

You said at once that
this kind of love poetry
does not resonate
with you yet still, you see, from
a distance, I keep
imaging to kiss upon
your weary eyelids
again, for a moment, it
gives me back my loss:
my sea of tranquility,
my moonbeam of inner peace.

fischers rap
on a hot tin roof
bristol creek pools
over rock and seed
english wolfhound (and the barkbuster)
stroll pine lane
vibrant colors
of a cool spring
in cob yellow and
forest green

field mice squander
in cotton wind
goats and ferret
hold seven hour trim
raven and ****
meddle and forage (on a splendid fiaker goulash!)
crickets and frogs
hidden
in swollen grey logs

creepers fill the
cut stone walls
coy wolf high
on a frayed white rope
eagles perched
at trudy’s bend
catamounts laze
on a snow base cedar
(pared arbutus bent
through a failed ground rock)

brush spider spins
a timely web
brown bears fumble
at the spirit jamboree
quizzical squirrels
crack their nuts
as pillow clouds float
over telegraph trail

12 point dances
on talus and scree
hen hawks float
in a big hard sun
clydesdale and coach
trot copper smith road
(glancing down
on finch and the warbler
whistling through
colander row)

lavender fills
the peat soil box
mountain cats
guard the heavenly gates
black eyed ridge
is wide and open
the country squire hails
this fruitful land
The golden sea, cling to me
Let me be in peace with thee
Let me sail your tender seas
Where I am safe, forever to be

Let me in the welcome door
Welcome me as a son forevermore
May I greet the ones I adore
And the one that i can't ignore

The golden sea, eternally sail
Rescue me, make me whole and well
A perfect creation, no flaws to tell
From resurrection, forever to dwell

you're the light that shines through
Through the darkness to remain true
perfect water, so deep and blue
I sail your sea, it's all I can do

Smoke rises in the distance.
The smell of flames starts to replace the fresh air.
No creatures in sight.
None to be found.
Just the smell of fire.
Wild fire.
Burns show where it has been.
Like footprints in the snow.
The birds are silent.
The air dull.
Light is dim.
The fire has ended.
Ash lays everywhere.
On the tree tops.
On the forest ground and bushes.
Silence.
It is over.
The fire is out.
I wrote this when I was like 13 or 14 and I just found it again on a super old deviantART account and I kind of like it still so I figured I'd post it here.
