Dark and gloomy clouds fill the sky
The day begins to feel dreary
Rain pours from the heavens
Lightning strikes the earth as thunder rumbles on

The sheer force which it brings
Makes the ground rumble and groan
Hail falls from up above
At first, penny sized
Eventually, they grow to golf *****

Cracks begin to form in the ground
As the earth begins to shake all around
The sky opens up its inner fury
And unleashes it on those below

A tornado forms through the turmoil
Fear is evident all around
But, within the hour
All begins to fade away
And the sun returns to a clear blue sky.

I'm confused so confused

normal emotions  just don't work
I can't think...

I drift roaming

what should I do
to free myself  ?

I was wrong before,
when I said  I was in love.
I had not fully understood,
I thought it was just a warm feeling,
and a smile when they walk into the room.
But now,
Now I know.
Love is a relentless tide,
A storm in my body,
A tornado in my heart.
It rips apart my reality,
And does not care for the wreckage it leaves in its wake.
My mind a war zone.

Love is not butterflies, it is bombs,
It is not fleeting, it is not kind.
It is not compassionate, it is a mighty force that takes control of me, and will not leave.

Bubbles and smoke
Wavering flames and twisting, spiralling water
Like two tornadoes of varying temperature and temperament,
And equal as different the opposing elements
Earth and air lay dormant as I lay,
Entranced,
By the visions that my very mind manipulates into my reality
Winds of high speed
Lift me to the sky
Vision's a blur.
My words slur
Amidst the whirl of dust.
Dirt coats my throat
i think i just saw a boat
And amoung all this madness
All this chaos
All i can think of is you
Its your birthday in two days
I ordered you flowers
And a nice little birthday card lies on my table.
And here i am about to die
i should be praying
i should be crying
But i guess i'll take
Your memory to my grave.
Its too bad
This tornado
Is going to litterally
Rip me
From you
Ever think of someone really important in a dangerous situation?

both of our eyes were brown, but yours had this beautiful depth.
this instant allurement.

you smiled at flowers, learned about the elements, sipped from the ponds, played in the dirt; splashed in the ocean.

we chased each other around like the winds of tornado.

there wasn't a day where the sun didn't kiss your forehead good morning,
and a night where the moon didn't watch you doze off.

you read tea leaves like a nun and her bible scriptures.

i was never alone.
whether together or apart, you managed to illuminate me,
to bring me to life on the days where my only question was to live,
to beckon my best self forward, and leave the worst one behind.

there's no doubt in my mind that the worst is yet to come, i'm just glad i get to spend it with you.
i was watching criminal minds and then i got the sudden urge to write, voila

The rain comes splattering in through my window, like a thousand cool tiny kisses

My skin glisten

It begins as the sun goes down in the coal black inky darkness of night

Layer of fright

Thunder so loud it rattles the windows, shakes the room

Sonic boom

Bright white hot lighting splits the night into

Darkness resumes

The rain pours down trying to drown everything, that's for certain

Glistening wet curtain

The wind is bending the trees to it's will, making house shingles fly

Look to the sky

Destruction is on the horizon, The finger of God is on the ground

No safe haven found

The funnel cloud again ascends into the heavens, leaving behind a shattered earth

What's the cost,the worth

The morning light brings silence, only the sounds of the mothers crying

The fathers sighing

Broken boards, tattered dreams, toppled trees

What's become of me

You'll find my body in the field, I road the winds, soul ripped from my mortal shell

**** up to heaven, thrown down to hell

A fire in our hearts for our every desire
A match, some kindling or perhaps a lighter
Waiting for an incident, an accident or worse
To light them up, die out and wind up in a hearse

Death is what we  dread, death is our end
You can pretend to be immortal, but you can only pretend
Life is what we cling to, our unreliable friend
But when your fire dies out, life will only send

An inferno, a tornado, circling flames
Burning deep within ever since I was made
Forced into this world, this world of chaos
Wandering the streets hoping that I'll get lost

Sometimes I look up into the sky
And burn brighter than the Sun, though I'm dark as night
Praying to God oh no, God please help me!
God save me, God you made me, God just take me!

And I hear nothing, nor do I see sign
Of He who lives above, He so divine
Abandoned by the figure who claimed to love me!
No-one left, just my fire and me, so I'll wait till I cease to be!

A man was driving in his car,
Or carriage, on the road the runs,
Where with his wife and little ones,
His horse did stop
On mountaintop–
Over the vale of Chappaqua
Black as night without a star
Came pitchy darkness on men's eyes,
And then great hailstones from the skies
Rattled around
And with rebound
Drove creatures mad in Chappaqua
The awful grandeur of the scene
Impressed him so it made him clean
Forget himself,
His house and pelt
And all his goods in Chappaqua
Thank God, they're safe! One did debar
Destruction on the road that runs–
To him, his wife and little ones.
Tornadoes pass,
Green grows the grass
In the valley, aye, of Chappaqua.
