I had taken two steps farther again hoping you would notice the distance, but this time I fell off a cliff screaming for you to ask me to stay . I was floating, wondering, “if I died when I hit the ground would the bruises of my past hurt more than being gone?” I couldn’t decide so I just let myself fall. I was looking up to every sharp edge of my life that I had created as my body twirled through the air. I’m not sure why I couldn’t form any thought but “I wish I would have worn shoes, I always hated that my second toe was longer than my first”. Next thing I could remember was you shaking me. I could not figure out when I had reached the ground. You kept saying “please stay”, it was as if your voice was on some sort of prerecord loop. I had needed to hear those words for so long that when you finally spoke them I didn’t understand. How could you not keep your eyes open long enough to see I had been slowly walking away for quite some time. Why did it take the distant thud of my body hitting the ground to catch your attention? You had to realize; you are my only home. I had hoped for so long that you would remember to repair the roof and paint the walls that shade of yellow we loved. But the only bedroom that wasn’t falling apart was the one where you laid your head as you dreamt, and I wept.
not poetry just some words on my brain

There is this girl that I love so much -
Sculpted by the angels on their hallow day.
Whenever she didn’t croon, she would just sway;
She was a wonder in herself, as such.

She walked up to me, I was very anxious.
My heart pounded, like it would
Break and dash out of my chest if it could.
Thoughts were vague, random and various.

Every inch she closed in, seemed like a mile;
Spellbound, I looked at this lady; She
Stared off into space, her first time, maybe.
Couldn’t jump the gun, but it had been a while.

Before I said anything, she stood on her toes,
Laid on my fool heart’s grave, a pink rose.
Kissed on my cheek, whispered goodbye -
Nonchalantly caressed my love to die.
The poem is about a beautiful girl that a boy has fallen in love with and still loves her to this day. Although, the poem begins like the girl is approaching to propose her love to the boy, its actually quite the opposite - she's breaking up with him. She parts with him saying that he is just her friend (laying of pink rose).

Leaving them on the sand dunes of reflection,
                                         staring into sunsets of yesterday.

Longing the feel caressing between toes,
waves ebbed closer to my heart....
Sometimes its nice to go bare foot to have te sand and waves caress you feet

She opted for verdant grass
scintillating and dewy
in the offset of an afternoon
thunderstorm

as opposed to the tepid
red brick pathway
damp and sanguine

sauntering in her black flip flops
blades of grass reach over
her soles and glaze
her milky toes

the bell sounds the hour
six o’clock
i’m late for class

Roanoke is like webbed toes; really weird but in a way that makes you wanna cough or throw up if you look too close

Line Dancing with Lucifer

The breeze breathes like the Earth shares
the same pulse.
I trip down the rabbit hole,
but never fall.
The tingles tickle my toes.
I listen with my eyes.
Lucy isn’t in the sky with diamonds.
She’s passed out at the hotel bar.
I trip down the rabbit hole,
But always fall.
I am line dancing with Lucifer.
Erret. The record
scratches. If he likes the way
my hips sway, then
we don’t have to make a
deal. Adios,
amigo. I’m out of this hell hole.
(Literal hole leading from Hell)
The grass smells greener and
tastes taller on the
flipside. I walk on my hands everywhere
I go. Suga ****, you on your hands again?
You’ll marry a rich man
one day, they said.  He will
walk on two feet.
Barely bipedal.
EVOLUTION IS A LIE.
Que habla me nada.
The paintings started speaking soliloquies.
To be or not to be?
I don’t remember answering
the question.
I fall down the rabbit hole but
I never trip.

Long forgotten in poems and prose
Are the tribulations of a person’s toes.
Perhaps the likes of the great Ulysses
Are all afraid that they will sound like sissies -
If, in a battle full of strife and woe
They should take a moment to say “ouch, my toe!”
(though no one thought twice to hear Achilles squeal,
“I can’t go on - I broke a heel”
So go on and whine if you stub your toe -
be like: “this little piggie went to battle - Yo!”

Good girl
*** hair
No way
Not fair
Fat thighs
Nice ***
Acne face
Hourglass
Wonder if that's all they see
No way to know
Is that me?
Chubby cheeks
Button nose
Perfect lips
Hairy toes
Good enough?
All the same
Picture perfect
That's the game
