Lord, you provide for me.
Lord, you provided and prepared me for the famine.
Lord, you prepared me for the upcoming battle.
Lord, you are preparing me to fight against the next enemy.
Lord, you have prepared, in your house, a place for me.
Help me, that I may finish this race, that I have pleased you.
And have done what I had to do and have won this race.

Amen

Giver of life.
Upholder of existence.
Keeper of my heart.
All to my be.

These things and more are what you are to me.
These things and more are what you've done for me.
To give you my life doesn't seem to cut it.
I owe you more than that. I always will..
A work of fact. An ode to someone who quite literally saved my life and stole my heart in the process

The person who always
knows when something’s the matter
But doesn’t pry because time will tell

The beauty you hold
doesn’t just come from the outside
But It is flowing within

You have a kind heart that not everyone
Deserves to see but you show it to anyone
You think needs a pick me up

Everything you’d want in a best friend
Could be found in you
So I worry about you going away

I could never get tired of our late night talks
The ones where we just lay in the dark
Because I can tell you anything and everything

But as it turns out
Everyone has a different definition of forever
And I hate that I’m waiting to see what yours is
I don’t appreciate my best friend as much as I should. When you read this I hope you’re safe and I’ll see you soon :)

I don't pray often
But when I do, I thank God
For giving me you
I really don't pray often. I don't know what I believe in. But sometimes, just in case someone is listening, I say a little thank you for putting him in my life.

Let’s again,
share the same sunlight
Let’s,
share the same moonlight

Dwelling this Paradise

I will take
my share of sun light
You take yours

I will think of you,
If I need brighter moon light
Let your glory shine

If you excuse.

What were told we are
We are not

Take time today
To write a different script

Say I love you
To your inner child

Smile at the heavens
And say Thank You

I’m not entirely sure
If I should thank you
For all the hurt

Because these emotions
Fuel the fire inside me
No one else can

And I gather the words
Just to turn them into
Beautiful poetry

So, thank you
For the pain
For the loss
And for all the things
You never meant to do.

I am the queen
of a beige colored box
with a pretty paper lantern
and discarded ***** socks

My lover is
a magic man
with a tender, fragile heart
we bring together seamlessly
lives from worlds apart

I come from
a pass-through town
a state for changing pace
a place with concrete skillets
and a rugged kind of grace

My kingdom is a sorry sight
my lover makes me bawl
my hometown holds my heartbreak
But no one has it all

I thought about my life today
and all it’s little pieces
I gather up my favorite ones
and all my worry ceases

When I needed words, he gave me silence
When I needed quiet, he gave me noise
Yet I have come to rely on his steadfast presence
His chaos - the only grounding force in my life
