When starting out,
We need no steps
Because we cannot walk;
We use our voices
To state our need
Even before we can talk.

Then, walking, a treasure,
Running, equal measure;
Learning to risk falling down.
Standing up, being tall
Taking stock of it all,
And amazedly looking around.

Watching others too;
What they went through
As they do the things they do
Does it’s duty to teach
Everyone they reach,
And we learn to love what’s new.

We sometimes stumble.
It's no good to grumble
We improve with each new step
Some of us in the middle
Never win the gold medal,
But, somehow we all take the trip.

When running days are gone
We keep on moving on.
When age has slowed our step.
At the end, lying down,
Making helpless sounds;
No step needed for the last trip.

Never asked for anything to shooting stars
But you came like some wish come true
These long walks are worth every step
If those steps leads to you...

Eyes that are open but collect no vison,
                     seeing only a narrow view.
With ears that hear all,
but only listen to false verses,
that whisper nothing but whispers.
We all walk paths,
but some are but the same.
A repetition of where we walked before
                       as we follow ignorant steps.
A mind is free when not tethered by the
insecurities of others neglect to walk another path..

Where peace prevails....
I have sought.
In my exhaustion,
I just want to breath... clean, fresh air.......
Deep, desperate.... breaths.
I'm drowning in this sadness
I'm dead while I still breath
I just need a break.

Mistakes are teachers
Life lessons learned
Unseen doors opened
From bridges burned

Allies turn enemies
Friends become foe
Death do us parts
Now have knives in tow

Brown eyes on faces
Green with envy within
Bestowed the smallest of power
True colors now show

Virtue is earned
Loyalty shines bright
When you're the lowest
Stalwarts join the fight

Brutus now exposed
Healing has began
The ides failed in their treachery
Adversity defines the man

Now rise, rise up
From the ashes of hate
Your future has just started
With happiness it's never too late

I took a few steps back, walking away from them all
I thought I'd be on my own as I walked to the dining hall
But then behind me, I heard loud foot steps in the snow
It was then I knew, I wasn't going to be walking alone...
Thanks for the Company <3

This happened at Skyview, in the year 2018. It took me an ENTIRE YEAR to post it because I was so scared to show it XD. Plus I wanted to be careful so.... YAY FINALLY HAD THE HEART TO POST IT!!!!!!

On my journey of love I move
as path reveals itself inside of divine timing
Mountains of obstacles I conquer
with one step of confidence after another.
Steps of trust
Steps of respect.
Steps of tears.
Steps of laughter.
Steps of fortitude.
Many steps to dreams.

On my journey of love I move,
heart opening with every vibrational
breath
Breaths for harmony.
Breaths to align with spirit.
Breaths to be grateful.
Breaths to open eyes.
Breaths to sing.
Many breaths to feel freedom.

On my journey to find love I move,
blessing the mirrors of self I meet.
For we are all on a mission to find love
and peace in this ever changing world.
Just words playing in mind.

One day at a time,
If you stick to that,
Everything will be fine.
If everyone took that pledge,
Your life would be sublime.
Who’s life’s are they talking about anyway?
It Surely isn’t mine!
Anxiety, diabetes, and cancer
My life is already working overtime.
If the bottle was my only problem
I think I’d be fine!
This was my first ever attempt at writing poetry!
From my own life experience

To
Climb
A staircase
Of success you
Need to go step by
Step, one at a time!!!
Many of us want success in our life; but in which way, you need to decide; the long and safe way or the quick but
dangerous one.
