The Quiet Beauty
of morning stars within
The Love of Your Sweet gaze

Reynaldo Casison
Caress like candles
Day and night
With sun and sweet moonlight
Soothe like evening rain
The pain
With Loves fine wine
flowers
And champagne
With Loves sweet affinities
Dress with honey
The Infinities
of the blue and golden hours
With carefree and moonlit robes
Waltz like salsa waves
To Luminous shores
Heavenly moon and stars
That sweetly adores

Reynaldo Casison
Our Love is sweet,
When we caress like candles,
Within,
Our Love is luminous,
The evening moon
and midnight stars to greet,
With,
Our rose gaze tenderly ablaze
Our Love is its own,
Honey tonic and gin

Immortality Mar 1
a falling star,
drawn to another,
as if the universe
had always known.
just cause...
Everything ends,
Debt collected by the light that gave it life.
Not everyone lives past the grave,
Often forgotten, memory slipping away.
I know for certain I will fade,
For that is how it must be.
Do away with my name and virtue,
Let only the raw words stay.
Yet still, when I do die,
I want a cannonade on evil,
And stars falling from the sky.
You can only bring one thing with you when it all goes black, and that's your honor.

Time drips slow like falling rain,
upon a heart weighed down with pain.
A thousand thoughts fill up my mind,
but no place left for peace to find.

By the sea, the wind still calls,
whispering stories through hollow halls.
Beneath the moon, beneath the sky,
I watch the stars and wonder why.

My soul is torn, yet still I smile,
walking cold and lost for miles.
The sun once warm, now barely light,
shadows stretch into the night.

I hold my breath, I close my eyes,
feel the fire where silence lies.
A single dream, a fleeting touch,
a whispered hope, but never much.

My hands still shake, my lips still burn,
for memories that won’t return.
The truth is heavy, life is loud,
the past is just a drifting cloud.

Yet in the dark, I still believe,
that something waits, beyond the grieve.
For even lost, we still remain—
a whisper carved into the rain.
So many hotels and monuments,
Nobody looks anywhere but the statues in DC.
But as for me and you,
We look up.
To the stars,
Through the rain,
Far beyond.
I don't know a single soul,
That day dreams about seeing stars in DC.
Though, as for you and me,
We look up.
Beyond the veil of space,
Straight to the sparkling sky diamonds,
Flickering above this stone city.
The greatest vacation.
Someday summer comes again,
Someday the sun does away with cold winds.
Winter doesn't last forever,
Winter will leave us soon.
I know we're at it's end,
I can see the light linger longer.
Winter will come to a close,
Winter snows have ceased their blow.
Someday the warm rays will melt the ice,
Someday stars will glow in a warm evening again.
It's felt like ages since the first snow fall of this ever-lasting winter.

If God let me, my dear
I'd rearrange the sky
You'd be my Sun, Moon and Stars
