This matter of life and death

is a serious matter
not to be taken lightly
as though watching a play
from a seat in a balcony

Stand up

get on stage and take your bow
choose a character and play yourself
as far as your heart will take you
the part has been written
the casting call is posted
you are invited to play the role
you were born for
Smiling face
and laughing eyes
I can't believe
I fell for all those lies
I think it's best
we share goodbyes
You're just an actor in lifes play

Standing there
upon the stage
reciting speeches
from the page
while i sit fuming
full of rage
You're just an actor in life's play

To me you're just an empty shell
Who I will meet again in hell
With others words, such tales you tell
And I believed them.....I believed

I thought that
what you said was true
That you loved me
like I loved you
Then I found out
That's what you do
You're an actor on life's stage

The real you
is a mystery
You've got a
blackened history
I can't believe
you did this to me
You're an actor on life's stage

Another play
Another role
Crawl on back
into your hole
You're an empty vessel
With a blackened soul
You're an actor on life's stage

The real you
you will find no more
it's just a role
you played before
so many lives
that you've lost score
you're an actor on life's stage

Silence falls
as you will find
No actor's mask
to hide behind
The play will end
Time is not kind
You're an actor with no stage

To me you're just an empty shell
Who I will meet again in hell
With others words, such tales you tell
And I believed them.....I believed

Misery! Oh the misery of a play that's ending.
A reality that goes amiss and emotions descending.

Though the audience know not of what goes on my mind,
I just seek solace in their remarks - mostly condescending!

I wish and hope I pass on the words I am intending.
Oh grief! Take me back into the actor's shoes,
in this reality, pain is impending!

The world is a stage
I can not replace
For all the plays
And all fakes
Are all in it together.

At least for people like me
Need to make the blind hear emotion
And make the deaf see emotion
For the mute to make noise
A smile through tears
Hits home for thousands of years
I don't think I could ever stop performing in my life. It's my heaven and hell.

There are those ugly burdens of life and                                                                We are greatly overburdened with those                                                                Absurd, ugly, and sad pressures of life ...                                                                 We try to overcome those ugly pressures                                                              Of life ,but all in vain and hopelessly ....                                                                Unless we are standing on a hard ground,                                                            Then all we do is useless and absurd anytime ...                                                    Life pressures us to fight back its atrocities, but                                                     All comes uselessly and all in vain anytime ...                                                        ___________________
I've lost my script
To life
They say there isn't one
Then why am I saying all the wrong things
If there is no right thing to say
How am I getting my steps so wrong
When there is no right way to move
What does getting it wrong
Actually mean
If there is no script to life
And no stages
To go through
....
I've lost my script
I'm going down

Galaxies pause when you walk on the spot light lit stage. Your shining smile brighter than the stars, no wonder all they could do was stare. Frozen in time, the journey you take them on with just the simplicity of your majestic voice lullabies them to a peaceful place where your arms is where they sleep.

Come on, girl,
keep your smile up.
Keep your smile up,
keep your smile bright,
do you best not to falter.
All the world is your stage,
but dear God, do the lights blind you.
Still, you can't miss a step,
don't miss a single step,
because just one slip will send you flying,
and no matter how much you love to fly,
what goes up must come down.
They can never know,
they will never see,
and you will never tell them
why your smile prefers to be a frown.

The stage is set
The lights are ready
The cues are in place
Everything is as it should be
It's the big event
And things look perfect
But only on center stage
In the left wing someone is broken
In the right wing people are angry
And behind the scenes everything is falling apart
People cry and people blame
Angry glares and cruel, harsh words
It's dark and bitter and so hallow
But it's all behind the scenes
All the things the public never sees
Because it's the big event
So when you're on stage
It's stiff, polite masks for everyone
Because perfection is expected
But it cannot be achieved
So we choose to be fake instead
All for the big event
All for the center stage
We do as we are told
And shove our emotions down
Because this is center stage
Where mistakes are not an option
So fake, tight smiles are arranged on our faces
But just till you get backstage
There it all falls away
This is the big event
This is life
