He sowed seeds of emptiness in her soul
A girl who is foolish to love him madly

I have a splinter in my heart
right in the middle point between the left atrium and the right ventricle.

A little husk of a beechtree seed
landed on the fragment of wood that now lives within me
and it cannot be removed or I will bleed all over and dry out.

It’s putting down roots on my cardial muscle tissue
one day it will break free, reaching for the stars.

Men are the seed to the earth,
And women are the fountain of water
that makes that very seed grow.

A farmer went to plant a crop
In his ready field
He threw it through and through the land
Preparing for his yield.

Some of his seed fell impotent
Upon a hardened ground
This seed was taken up by birds
Who quickly flew around.

Some seed fell on shallow soil
And sprouted quickly there
But there was no room for roots to grow
So the heat took up that share.

Some it fell in fertile loam
But there was other seed
As it grew it was choked out
By briars and by weeds.

Some of this land, however
Was harrowed quick and sure
The seed fell deep within it
And so the crop endured.

We all know this parable
That Jesus gave the crowd
They did not understand it
For they were not allowed.

But his stalwart followers
Asked the meaning of his words
They were of his kingdom
So this is what they heard...

The trodden soil was as a hardened heart
Which could not accept the Truth
And so it was devoured
By Satan. Foul. Uncouth.

This second soil was spurious
A sprinkling of dirt
Upon a rocky soil beneath
And so their Faith was hurt.

The Third had fatal mixture
Of good seed and of bad
The weeds were a distraction
And so the fruit was sad.

The final ground was fertile
Tilled by God's own hand
So 30... 60... 100 fold
Was the Harvest of that land.

The Word of God is like this Seed
It has much to offer
The Holy Spirit is its Wind

And Jesus Christ its Author.

I was meditating on this scripture today.
It was sent to me by a dear sister in Christ who is on the site. It held much significance to me. I have a few weeds it need to be pulled! Lol!

I will be reading tonight so bear with me. The hurrier I go the behinder I get! XD

Sometime early in the year,
Calving drawing on,
Seeders and tractors
Lose their dormant chill,
Began demanding preparation,
Murmuring anticipation:
"Clean the seed for planting!"
"Till the soil and ready it for seed!"

The farmer, wanting rest,
Anxiously awaits first sprouts,
Anticipates the time to till the noxious weeds,
Watches capricious sky for signs of rain or hail;
Tends fences; guards his fields,
Where ripening grain cannot predict the yields.

June scrambling begins:
The readying for harvest,
The hopeful storage plans,
The preparation of harvesters
Expensive beyond budgets,
Soon to lumber out and gather
Dying summer in....

Autumn's chilling breath
Calls quickening to the work:
The gathering of straw,
The hauling-in of hay,
The opened stubble fields for cows;
The planting of winter wheat,
That first must sprout before frost....
(If not the seeding may be  lost).

A seed pod explodes,
Ears of the forest perk up,
Mirth in fertile earth.

Everytime I try to bask in the sun
Everything comes unraveled and undone
The light Only burns me and makes me blind
Always falling farther behind

What is the secret to a happy life
I need to know mines only been strife
I have thoughtful plotted my days
Time has showed me others control my ways

Even when I've only let family in
They still committed egregious sin
Living all alone doesn't let happiness be
I'm so confused that I can't see

I opened my heart once again
Only to get it shattered within
I done all I can so where is happiness found
I think mine is hidden under ground

When I preform my finale deed
On that day I die and they plant me like a seed
I think I'll find it that's where it will be
The only place where there is true glee

Each word is a potent seed,
sow it with such loving care,
these seeds, in fertile fields
lie in wait patiently to sprout
and to  ensure a golden harvest

We are the seeds of our own evil
We can choose to feed the seed until it keeps growing
Or we can choose not to feed into the evil
Because once that seed is planted
It will take more effort to rid of the evil,
Than it was to plant.
Why don't you grow
Dear seed,
that I did not sow
Asked the parent,
in sorrow
