how is it I'm so uneasy
how is it that you've been fine
life reveals what it's dealt through seasons
circle comes around each time

you're above
over me
you're feeling the love
above
craving unconditional love
inspired by Mad Season "I'm Above"

the leaves have fallen
and the clouds are dark
the trees are left with
only branches and bark

you said that you loved me
so I gave you my heart
laid down my armor
and lowered my guard

i gave you my everything
i showed you the scars
that constantly reminded me
that loving was hard

i would have given you the sky
the sun, moon, and stars
the planets and the multiverse
we could have gone so far

how did i go
from all these lovely parts
to crying in silence
for the you-sized hole in my heart?

I love Fall time

I love the colors

We came to be an official couple in the Fall

But I almost died

In the Fall as well

That day had so many things, smells, places

You saved my life twice

I was thinking of the way
the air felt today

How it reminded me of Fall

Then all I wanted to do was cry

Dual trauma

Just each is different

I get that ugly feeling everything will be
taken away from me

Now I understand why

It is summer season
When the wind runs about wailing
For it's carrying heat
When it is summer the heat is oppressive .  And the noise it makes seems like wailing .  Reedited  01/07/2020

And as the winter cold magically makes ice crystals, we watch the grass glistening with frost.
Knitted scarves and woolen coats,
plus our knotted fingers braved  the cold.
You held my hands and erased the chaos buried deep under my skin.
And took me in your arms, held me close for a moment, and planted a light kiss on my nose.
I felt the firmness of your touch, the passion and love came rushing from within.
And as nature freezes and sees our love while
I yielded in the intensity of your kiss.
You covered my scars and held me close until my fear left my entire soul.

The winds blew
leaves are dancing and rustling
Season of fall
Then I saw you leaving
First poem to be published, thank you for the opportunity to post.

The season here is turning
The breeze is warm again
And flowers are growing anew

But it’s not the same as it was
The breeze no longer sings my name
And the flowers don’t smell as sweet

The peace that I once felt
Is replaced by confusion
And I feel restless in this place

I know what it means
Because I can feel it
That my welcome has come to an end

So I have to go for now
But don’t worry about me
Because I’ll still be around
