I’d place this song between your ears
Your fingers in-between my own
I’d turn this world of our inside-out
And Upside-down
Just to find you a place that you'd call home

I am a dusty letter,
a piece of paper layered with ink,
but if you believe I'm nothing more
then it's time that you rethink.
For I carry along with me
emotions locked within a heart,
that were scribbled upon a paper
with a stamp for it to depart.
Then this paper reaches a site,
drops some words left unsaid
or tells stories of bitter past,
so some tears are always shed.
And that's my only purpose,
making lost connections better.
So if you've got few secrets to reveal,
then grab a pen and write a letter.

What if I tell you I'm not too good for you?
And I see you not being so pleased to know me
But I say it's okay to be that way, sometimes
And what if I tell you there's no need to make the words rhyme
Translate your feelings into words; call it a poem
Because that is the only way to relief, sometimes
Heart that beats in our chests is not so different, you see
What if I tell you, it's your eyes that become blind, sometimes
Don't  appraise  my emotions, try to be  kind
What if I tell you, it's okay not to be the judge,  sometimes.

Scribble ten words,
First three are a verse,
For what it's worth,
Only an idea for you,
How to stimulate the muse.......
Feedback welcome.

The water tosses saddles within the mist
Scribbling a mesmerizing sunshine of gold
The rest is in her head, as it tail spins
Cold ankle shivers, waking waves of snow
Easing the sniffling sipper's imprisonment
Beneath the bungalow

Color me happy
Color me wise
Color in colors
Only seen through your eyes

Color in scribbles
Color outside the lines
Color a picture
That is quite unlike mine

I despise politicians as they bluff,

Like a dwarf promising to be tall,

But then says fate has been told !

My head it aches, like a Halo wrapped tightly around my head.
Like an angel who tried to pull the wool around me, but now I wear his crown instead.

Pressuring me, my every thought, pounding beats out like a drum.
Oh metal band I bind with you, to make my wandering mind go numb.

Pull my attention back to you, you show me a hue of blue above.
On such a day when skies are gray, I crave the Raven not the Dove.

Just send me to a quiet room and remove my Halo from above.
These former halves no longer two, the pain humanity hates yet loves.

Pulling attention back to you, demanding time and time again,
That I lose sight and sacrifice my focus on the task at hand.

Depart from me oh aching head, let me for a moment begin again.
To see the morning without hindrance, and be the mind I've always been.
For all those who have a headache - Boy I had a doozy the other morning!
