sap
she is
the sap of the rarest tree
     forever watched
     prodded
     commercialized

the slow descent
     to swallow everything
     leaves her encased
     vilified
sprouting spores of dust on a shelf

into a clockwork flower
     plucked and plumed
sanitized in all the right places
     harlequin smile for the stage
nipped and tucked for viewing pleasure

I love it when she wears my hat,
I fell for her right off the bat.
She towers in height,
A few inches more.
When I hear her voice I'm as high as a kite,
If love were a currency I'd never go poor.
All I want is for you to love me too,
And hope your heart has the same plan I do.

What are these bodies, these
limbs, giving up their sap
and heat? Who decides
who dies, who lives?

What is cut down is
cut down, and
bereft children
grow in their place.

I'm the sappiest tree ever grown.
My fear, though, is that one day someone will
cut me down, take all of my treasured
products and leave me with nothing
but the scar from their jagged saw.

I cant blame the guy, when the devil wants to dance you dont say no.
Poor sap.

Hope you can handle the heat.

An urban legend of sorts they said, of a tree, of a
branch that took any weight given. it has nickname
It had a place in secluded nature where no one seen.

"The *** tree,

"Really,

"Ye but you have to watch your step,

"Why??

"Well lets just say its a well fertilized ground,
"The earth and plants feed well on the,
"Sap,
"Seeds,

Not from one but the many, I heard the branch
Can take any weight, a gentlemen of plentiful weight
Tested the legend and got stuck **** naked
Not for a,

"Moment,
"Minute,
"Hours,

"Was he stuck, birthday suit and all,

His lady friend had jogged off with wallet and all,
Its on YouTube,
Called tree hugger nudist,

There is loads of dents little *** holes,
Some say its all the ***** *******,
So many hard ones poking dents,
indentations forever of ******* against this tree.

"I've been their done that,

Really,

"Never again,
"Were standing on this branch,
"What's that look for,

"Nothing,
(Giggles under breathe)

"Getting into the moment,
"Thought sap,
"Tree sap,
"Was seeping in to my hair,

"Don't stop what happened stuck,
"Pants down skinny **** man up tree,
(giggles loudly)

"Dude I'm 6 foot 5inches,
It was sap of a different kind,

(Gags in mouth)

No Fudging way,

Yep that's not the worst,

"How the hell does some one seed a tree that high,

"It was like the tree was ******* itself,

"Old juice, sap, Klingon,
"What ever I throw up on her,
She bit down,
I, we feel three feet out the tree,

"So that's what the plaster cast is from,
"Is that why your walking funny,

Twenty nine stitches its like something
From a Frankenstein film,

Never again my friend a bed is where ill be from
Now on, she fell in a puddle of Jib juice triplets
She had all three different, DNA tests on all
Who visited the tree.
As a video recorded of all who entered,
Just not the naked bits seen.

"Nature can keep its *** tree,
"I'll be lucky if mine works again,
"Mine isn't wood its a limp branch now,

"Dude you got ****** by wood,
"Bitten limp by teeth,
"Unlucky bro,
"Hahahahah,
*"Rather you than me,

Today, I pray for an angel's decent
to guide you with it's all great consent
Today I pray for a happier day
to make you fullfilled, happy and gay
I pray to God to give you my happiness
to make you feel better and forget your sadness
Do not be sad if you see my frowned face
I prayed for you, that is the case

How in love with you am I?
Really, I sometimes question why.
Well, I'm not sure on how much I do
But I sorta have some kind of clue
For starters, I can't stop thinking about you
A thought of you is never overdue
When I hear music, I remember you
Cause I sometimes think it's your kind of tune
When I see flowers on the streetside
I have this urge to have you by my side
When our hands would simply touch
It made me want to hold your hand so much
Every word you say I can still remember
Like me and the lyrics of the song "September"
Oh how much I want to give you a hug
But I'm afraid that you might give me a smug
You're one of the only people I can trust
It's like having you around is a big must
So.. I'm not so sure these feelings kept in a cluster
Are more that what a normal man can muster
So If you ask me how in love am I with you
I might probably say.. "I don't know. I just do"

I* felt the knife drag across my heart
Years after we carved one in this *tree

I only felt the repercussions after it killed me
Now I'm drowning in the blood of the tree
Mingled with tears from the sky

I feel at one with nature.
Self-Assurance. Freedom. They may come at a price.
