Your eyes are the same green-blue of the ocean.
Your smile, as warm and bright as the sun.
Your laugh as welcome as the crash of the waves.
Your hands the sand caressing my body
as I lay in your bed.
You are my getaway
And I never want to leave.
Do you ever feel like there's a person that is your home? Like the one you want to go to when the world is crazy. They're your home. They're your getaway. They're your happy place, your comfort space.

As the sand slipped through the
Hourglass,
Her memory faded a little more.

A choice to be Happy is,
the last thing she could remember.
Everything is a choice in life. I hope when we all look back in our life ,we are proud of the choices that we make back then.

My blue ocean waves
totter over your dusty sands.
We are better together
for we make beautiful sand castles.

I wander along the sea shore,.....
Unsure what it is I search for,
Walking wondering across the sand as I'm,
Does someone wait on another shore,
wind and water salty spray...
The roar of the ocean speaking in Nature’s tongue...
my feet sinking in sand marking my way,
With two feet beating the waves kiss the undertow,
I have taken lines from other poets from a  different site, and it's starting beautifully, please do continue it, the same poets may offer more lines to the poem..

High in the sky,
The sour rays scorch the drifting sand
which rubs raw against the lonely stretch of land.
It watches over this abandoned place
and listens to the splintering screams of the wind
which whirls the dust into the brown skies.
Lizards scuttle across the rocks that slowly cook
beneath the beams,
while snakes slide through the dry lakes
that shimmer and gleam in this hazy dream.
Time ticks.
The evening sun trudges across the sky
and the tall stones of sand extinguish the flames
until pale grey turns to deep blue.
Stars scatter the sky like tossed diamond dust
while the moon tiptoes up, like a thief stealing the warmth,
breathing and freezing the burnt rocks below.
The owl cracks the cold with its call
and the Desert is alight with a fresh glow,
until the sun returns to defrost the night once more.

My mistakes, shortcomings, errors, and failures, are as sand by the sea.
As his voice raises an angry wind, the sand hits my stinging eyes.

Other times, the waves of his affection wash wet and smooth the sand down, and we walk and look at the falling sun.

But even as we stroll, the sand sticks to my feet,
I know that sand will stay stuck to me.
I have to admit, these feelings are unknown to me. I just wanted to be edgy like the cool kids.

they force me to come
where the ivy once grew
flourished between the noise
and the ocean’s dance
loved agaisnt the sun
kissed between the sand

and i arrive
to that forgotten place
where the only life left
is of that of the sea
and the stars
where once the crowds gathered
and i was happy
but those people were gone now
dead
just like the magic
and the ivy
that once grew around the white house
and flourished against the sun
filled with life
relaxing during summer somewhere i have been to so many times, it almost feels like home
a poem to stand by ‘the dying ivy’

By the way
To all the cryptic beings
Find a place in my heart

Away from the public
Toward the evening dawn
Bordering the bright blue sea

There you will find grain
Possibly wet sand
Coconuts by the dozen

Enough pleasure
Just the right amount
For a hairy beast

Sadly, it is all lies
A hairy beast
Coconuts in the sea

This poem means nothing
Really that's the point
It really is cynical
