i think you can dilute me
in the southwest monsoon
that buries the city in july
i let the gray rainfall
choke me, drown me
until all my colors have
bled through me

i think i can dilute me
and make me easier
tolerable for you
to drink up, to love
there is nothing more i want
consume me, renew me
make me water in your hands

i think there are other people
out there, waiting for me
but i don’t want to wait for them
when i have waited so long for you
so just dilute me, **** me
let me be a chasm
and fill me up, up, up

i think you can make me
into someone you will miss

These white lights shine too bright for my

poor dead eyes, and the man’s ramblings, he

held my eardrums hostage. Then came a sudden squall, she

engulfed me in one heck of a waterfall.

Faint moonlight peeked at the end of a musty, darkly lit stairwell we

saw each other and laughed at our equally drenched clothes, our

wet hair. As sewer rats, we scurried to rescue potted plants, we

whipped *****, thuds on white walls, with sticks and knives and all. We

rolled on the floor and nearly got concussions, sprained ankles. I

remembered how to fall again, to do it all in one fell swoop.

I know my body was mine, but now it is also yours, so we

danced, barefoot, twirled in our arms, caught each other, ate our

mother’s mooncakes while the storm rages on somewhere, outside. We

smiled, mouths full with black sesame, white lotus, egg yolks, our

laughter echoing under this gentle white light, upon this warm wood.

This conversation spins nothing, but this means everything to me.

We walk under the damp, stale, starless sky, remnants of the squall. You

suddenly proclaimed that all stars have gathered for me,

and it is my stage, my game now, so I

went home smiling despite it all. You

don’t know that this mid-autumn night was all I ever dreamed of.
Happy mooncake day :D

rain clouds;
so heavy and thick,
they're so powerful,
they hide the sun
but it's not a long-lasting trick,
it's only a temporary catastrophe,
until the sun stretches
out its rays
pushing away
the need for the prosaic.

She was like the sun,
Or so I thought.

As I set my eyes awide,
She was more than what met the eye.

A bed of moss with dewdrops and white flowers,
Underneath a gentle spring morning, she sat.

Troubled wind gushing over autumn leaves,
She dances wildly over a carpet of hues.

Silent rain with sorrow pours unbidden,
She finds her shelter on boughs awaiting a gentle pause.

Of all the facades she may hold,
I see her a little, through the cracks of the mask.

For the first time ever,
Seeing this girl of yellow hue,

She was like the sun,
As my soul had seen her all along.

She attracted, tolerated,
illuminated and controlled everything around her,
And I was happy to be at her mercy
Hello, I am an amateur but i wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

I'm in the middle of the street, I stop.
I look around to find a clue tho I am lost..
They say to never lose your hope,
But everything I see is rain and dust
And looking at my reflection in a drop
I think..who's that, a ghost?

I let it out, a sigh, and glance above
Sad smile, dead eyes looking thereof
While falling down are drops of opal
They're dancing..what a spectacle
I'm witnessing a musical
And hoping for a miracle
Those mystic jewels, astral beauty
The sky is crying..or is it me?
Inspired by rain and deep feelings, thank u for reading;)

Rain soaks our clothes, leaves us breathless and cleansed.
The lights bounce and shimmer; a thousand lights on us.
Coppery and acidic, but it doesn’t overpower the taste of you.
Drunken girls laugh into the night like gulls in the morning.

Ignore the looks; kiss me, put your lips on mine.
Smear my pink lipstick, make your pretty red stick.
Fist my sweater and pull my heart out; keep it with yours.
Tug the strands of my hair, pull me closer; don’t let the divider in.

It’s cold in the rain, so mingle our breaths
and create hot, steamy fog to keep us warm.
The lights are on us, but **** it; let’s give ’em a show.
They want the rain to drown us; let’s slow dance.

Hold my waist, reel me in like a love song.
Sip my lips like cheap beer, savour me like wine.
Bruise me like a peach; kiss it better.
Feel the wind sting our cheeks; try to blow out our flame.

Whispering in my ear, he’s looking, isn’t he?
Kissing the frown from your lips, yes, he is. Who cares?
Let the hateful ******* sneer and scorn.
I’ll still love my lover in this storm.

your scent makes me feel safe
and your warm brown eyes comforts me
the bear hugs from you became my favorite thing
and your smile gets me through the day
you don’t need your stethoscope to get me cured
i’ve already stitched what my past has broke
your presence alone is enough for me
i see colors again to translate it to poetry
i’m glad i found you in the after rain

You say I'm insane for
Driving my brand new cabrio
With its roof wide open
In the pouring rain
But have you ever tried?
Who needs that new car smell anyway...?

I cry
Recently quite a lot
Some tears fall with no why
Most are no longer fought
Like rain from the sky
Weather wanted or not
Emotions flood the eye
The mind an impossible knot
Man card revoked, no reapply
I push through all for naught
Every try
A long shot...
But it's all I got
