Birds of a feather,
Not unlike me,
Love fine weather
(When it’s pouring tea).
Manners, wine and dining, too.
Mantis, llama, kangaroo.

Overmade, they do make over.
Things so brittle like the rover
Sent to Mars, the Milky Way,
Bounty, sneaky in its way.

Inbetwixt the words they utter,
They choose bread over the butter.
Frying French and grilling Jerry,
Jamming jars of juicy berry.

Duty-bound, they bound off duty.
Flock together! Fly, my beauties!
Plumes all owned. And not one borrowed.
Standing still amidst the horror…

Jokes aside, and folly ousted,
Peace preferred to putrid bloodshed,
They, like me, are hard to find…
Seems, at last, I’ve lost my mind!

Islands, Mountains, Forests, Swamps, Plains
We all have trekked through the lands
With our very own hands
Spending away the clock
We can't escape the fate
No point in trying to Negate
Which may come as a Shock
But let things Nourish
And everything will flourish
After all you don't want to miss
The sky's Last Kiss
For each verse
Is our curse
Because they are Always Watching
For you to make the wrong tap
So they can spring out their trap
An obvious reference is an obvious reference. Also I want to add that their are two lines that match each other but dont rhyme on purpose. Anyway I hope you enjoy this quirky piece!

Words can be...

                          H           r          r
                              e            i                a

Words can be all of these things and more, much more @       @
They should never be underestimated, for they have so           @
much power, to heal and hurt, to lose and gain, so use            @
them   wisely.   There are so many poems I have read            @
that have influenced me for the better.    I remember          @
all  that I wrote - depressive pieces of work,     but         @
man,    I can honestly admit that I have grown. I      @
                 do have a little girl's heart but I am a Queen.  I    @
will help polish the crowns of everyone I     @        @
meet. Our kingdom's will thrive.                @

Our passions won't die.            We will use our quills to
connect to one another.     We will use the stones of our
enemies to them strengthen or walls.    Just know that
true Kings and Queens   will keep sipping
on our sweet  poetea.
Inspired by fellow HP Queen Jugnu 'The Firefly's' A Tea of Poetry poem.
It was rather challenging to do, but I made it work at least! ^-^
Thank you Queen Jugnu for the cup of Oolong tea!
Here's some Poetea ;)

The calmest ventures
You can't silence a bird's song
They sing of success
You can't silence a bird's song!
Another pun of my name - Lyn - Lin - Linette bird!

Let my griefs fall with cold days
