I had no idea at the age of 17 where we would be 3 years from now.
Not once did I think I would find someone so young who would love me for 3 years and not leave me.
And I know I'm lucky.
Lucky to not be dropped after high school,
Lucky to not have be left for someone from your university,
Lucky to not have been cheated on on a night out.
Because thats not always the case for people in love.
I'm 20 now, and not only am I lucky enough to find my one person for life,
But I'm lucky enough to call them my best friend.

Oh glorious sun
Shining down on me
Hello marvelous birds
Sing your joyful melody
Cotton candy skies
Don't mind if I do
It's not every day
The sun is shining for you

Why, hi butterfly
What fabulous wings
Keep on buzzing little bees
We all know what that brings
Is the air extra sweet?
Are we floating around?
On charmed days like this
Why stay on the ground?

What a beautiful world
What a gorgeous day
I’m drinking in sunshine
While wandering astray
I’m passing out smiles
Take one, they’re free
When it’s your lucky day
I hope you’ll have one for me

When God indeed
rubs a forehead with luck
what on earth can hide that?

For how long, how far
eclipsing on the way
can the clouds roam high?

The wind will blow
and will rain them down.
Ah, the pure blue in luck,
in abundance, up in the sky
always shines out!

That's a trait of the eternally blue
The lucky colour sets the better backdrop
for the shimmering sun in the sky.
Luckier is a man with a righteous wife!

I got a penny in my pocket,
a cricket in a box,
a ladybird,
a dragon fly,
a little silver fox,
I got a key,
a golden eye,
a pie up in the sky;
I've got so many lucky things;
Oh! these lucky things of mine!
I'll cross my fingers,
Hold my breath,
pull the petals one by one
I'll gaze into my lucky bag;
and marvel at the lucky ones.
shooting stars and moon lit skies are dazzling to my eyes.
But I treasure all these lucky things;
Oh! these lucky things of mine!

Now make a wish
and count to ten
then turn three times and say again!
"I'm a silly superstitious ****!"
Yes I'm a silly superstitious punk!
putting faith into the  silliest things

I know I am not crazy nor delusional,
but you think I am -
even when I fell in love with you.

Thought you would call yourself lucky,
but instead you called me crazy.
I guess because we fell in love way too fast,
and the feeling in my heart still last.

Even when you said those words,
reminds me that I am such a lucky girl -
to have such a wonderful man like you
and to be wrapped up in your arms -
makes me feel so safe and secure.

I'm so glad that you're mine,
and I know that you're lucky
that I'm yours.

Unending happiness,
abundant distraction,
uninterrupted good fortune.
Just garden variety
excess.
What I got was best.
A clamped on winter sky
casting doubt, monotony.
A shopworn body,
maintenance required.
Never enough in
the coffers for my taste.
The usual
troublesome happenstance.
Desolation and beauty
are close cousins
pushing and pulling
rough housing,
as they do.
Throw your lucky penny
in the fountain
and walk away.
See if you wish it were still
in your pocket.
Then let it go.
