She walked across the courtyard
and right away he saw her.
He watched her as she walked on by
and he hoped that he could meet her.
He was like a large camera,
zooming in closely on her.
From that very first single moment,
he promised he would win her.

He talks in riddles
And walks with pride.
His words are encrypted
And so are his eyes.

He's hard to read
And even harder to please.
His life is a movie
And he plays the tease.

He sings in metaphors
And plays the guitar.
He's a normal boy
But he acts like a star.

And though I try my best
it all stays the same
I ignore my brain
when it says he plays games.

bawat minuto pangalan mo'y aking nasasambit
napaibig ako sayo nung una palang
minahal kita ng hindi mo nalalaman

Langit ka at lupa man ako
pinag tagpo pero hindi tinadhana
Iniirog mo'y iba sana maging kayo na nga
handa akong masaktan basta sumaya kalang sa feeling niya .

She was like music,
and I longed to dance.

Her heart was the beat,
and I begged for the chance.

Her words were the vocals,
and I was put in a trance.

Her smile was the melody,
and I fell in love at first glance.

I see you in the crowd.
Loud music playing in the background and shoulder to shoulder with random people around us.
I see you across the room.
Our eyes meet.
The song continues to play and the crowd continue to sing.
But we continue our game - our staring game.

Not one of us loses
Nor wins.

The game that felt like an eternity.

When will I see you again?

there is something
about the way he smiled
that makes my heart flutter
and break
into a million tiny pieces
all at the same time

I was standing somewhere alone,
watching things come and go,
listening to the noises and voices around me,
that moment was constant,
as nothing felt different,
no person or thing made me hold my breath a moment longer,

but then you came,
like a wind,
which turned into storm,
and somehow
you cancelled all the loud noises,
you blurred all the excessive frames,
it was as if you hacked my mind and
made me focus my everything on you.

I don’t know what happened in that moment
but it was different,
and for me
love is something different
something that mesmerizes you,
amazes you, and something that you hold onto.

She smelled of wild lavender and deep magicks,
The scent hanging in the air like a golden silence,
I'm trying to hold tightly yet composure is first to dissolve,
Senses fall one by one until no dominoes are left,
Stop staring, act natural and crumble on the inside,
Don't speak, reserve your efforts for a smile,
Blown fuse serviced from the under-wing like vertigo in my veins, and neatly betwixt ******* twirl a cotton drapery,
Framed in silk halo, enshrouding like auras in a Milky Way of phantasmagoria.
Until my thoughts become in summary and each breathe becomes shorter than the last.
The artistry of her elegance like sleek fine line-work on vintage paper and I'm ... feather light.
And in those tresses I'd seen that sheen before, in the ripple of calm ocean waves, and in auburn at sunset.
I'd seen that gloss in her eyes perched upon petals as morning dew and rain upon windows in my quiet times,
Between the silhouetting slopes of her contours as dunes upon the horizon, there's an eclipse in her lips that would not speak in any less than measured prosody nor kiss without dreamscape grandeur.
