His fingers ran up my leg like a snake searching the bottom of a rain forest.
His eyes shifted to my lips, with a need, he stared.
But I was okay, I was okay with the need.
I was okay with the grip he had on my hair.
I was okay with the way he smashed his lips to mine.
I was okay.

I reached home to be greeted by her brilliant Punjabi smile,
Her smile wasn't made up or forced, but it was a spontaneous one,
She was genuinely surprised to see me in reality and so was I.

She guided me to her room where I rested my bag after the journey,
Her face also carried a childish pure mischievous look in her brown eyes,
I then gladly complied when she came close to me for a lip lock.

Your lips tasted
like the stars
i never got to see
because of the cities
bright lights.
And once our lips connected,
Meteors fell down to earth,
And the ground beneath us started crumbling.
For it was the end of the beginning,
And I couldn't have been more un-afraid.

with a couple words like Je T'aime I wasn't really
impressed with the way your tongue glided over
your lower lip or the way your eyes shot up like
fireworks on the Fourth of July, which reminded
me of the last time I met someone like you right by
the Colosseum: was I meant to be intertwined with a
historic love or have my heart coded with places I
wouldn't forget such as your arms during the morning
light when we are hidden under the sheets, hoping your
mother wouldn't come in her satin pink robe and sharp
tongue because she said she was too young to be a grandmother
(she said she loved the color of my eyes, brown like mine
were too rare to find) and for a moment, I believed her when she
said I should pack up my bags and find another city to fall in
love with because you'd drag me under the ground and make me
a ruin just the way your father did to her. It was hard to believe
the words springing from her blood, but I left a photograph of myself
in your pocket and ran to where my legs took me. In a matter of months, when I heard a couple of words like Te Amo, I knew it was to start again.

If we where to see each other again,
would the flames burst out of
our eyes, or would water come
rushing in from the fantasy of lust-fullness.
We could have fun,
we could reminisce on the sounds my
room made when you came.
Skin to skin,
Lip to Lip,
My finger nails into your back.
Slowly penetrating down your spine.
Harder, faster, Deeper, Slow and steady.
I've left my mark on you plenty of times,
and you've heard innocence eluding
my body with every moan that leaked from my lips.
If we where to see each other again,
Darling please walk away.
For my very first.
This ones for you.

Of all things, I am a sucker for a red lip
Especially when on a stranger
It makes me think, what are they thinking
And
Who is their perfect red lip for
But ill just be selfish and believe it’s for me
As I glance at their red lip from afar

Of all things, I am a sucker for a red lip
Especially when on a friend
That I hardly know
I still wonder who that red lip is for
And with my hello
I’ll still wish someone would wear a red lip for me

Some guys will leave lip prints on your body that will fade away, but will leave cuts in your heart that will last forever.

now,
that your anger
has soothed down,
you are calm and
you have that guilty face
on you,
the one that you
always have,
when you know
you were wrong.
you're biting
your red, swollen lip,
and your repeated excuses,
i will not take anymore,
i have heard them too many times,
the tension in the air,
is telling us
that our time is
done,
for good.
