Images in my mind so unreal
Images scattered like a puzzle
A puzzle that is impossible to fix
Yet in my hands,And I'm lost
What a shattered frame
All I see is a shattered frame

I'm questioning myself,more questions
I'm seeking response from within but none
Till a ray of light began to shine
Pointing somewhere like a path to follow
It wasn't just a ray,it was hope

My mind is no more on the shattered frame
Just then I realised,I am not the fixer
How could I possibly be the fixer
There is one superior to all
Knowledgeable of all,and more than able
One Able,who was and is and is to come

Now the ray of light  points in a path
The end of which I Can not see
Thats how far I'm meant to go
Thats how limitless I am
My abilities, the strength that lies within
And the frame in my hands is making sense
The picture is forming
Its a new image,It is hope

Sky
Falls for the
Earth, in turn
Gets rejected;
Tears.

i'm just feeling a little
indifferent
at this profound amount of
ambivalence
but i swear love you so much it's completely
ridiculous
it's like time slows down and then i become
limitless

You sit in silence, on lotus
deeply meditate, in the end
recount the tale of life, simple
for a moment,in a nutshell,
the sky of your mind is clear.

But materials of millions
of light years in our tale
is beyond retrievable limits,
on that no confirmation
is needed, simple logic will
tell you that the life you live
couldn't be an isolated one
every one of the neurons
of your brain, is a star in this
thickly braided, interwoven
 universes, that die and take birth.

Before and after simply
must be there, but, as it is
out of bounds for the senses,
limited to a time and space
we are groping in the dark.

So what now, don't you
want to go beyond --
in to the ocean where
human logic can't stand,
and end the intergalactic
expedition with light
and darkness as references.

Break the final barrier
exploring  the universe within,
decide to be the light
undiminished for ever;
embrace enlightenment
breaking the golden chain
that ties down,  desires.

I'm standing on top  of the world,
staring down at the millions of lives,
Wondering....
Where do you play out your life?
Do you feel the universe move beneath you?
And if at night, do you reach out for me,
looking at the stars and dreaming
of the love and limitless possibilities
that could pass between us in this world.
Like breathing lungs.
Like beating hearts.
Like whispering lips,
sharing untold secrets.

I see you
staring from across the room,
but that twinkle in your eye
captivates me so,
I can't look away, too.

I'm uncharted,
You're a creation of my daydreams;
We're familiar strangers
like Adam and Eve
as we lust over this forbidden fruit.

I see a smile
and our lips are in sync -
curving upward
as our eyes shy away;
The things we do not know
won't stop us
as we travel to the edge
of each other's imagination.

Dancing...
             She likes to dance
as she twirls through my mind
like a dream from long ago.

That look
(I know where it leads, do you?)
gleaming from within
the meadows of her glistening,
green
eyes,
expresses desire -
and she knows I'll succumb.
Tongue-tied and speechless,
I hope that she believes in fantasies, too.

You're one in a million,
and we're one-on-one;
The possibilities know no limit...

So let's keep them that way:
I'll remember you in fantasy,
and you can pretend that you knew me.
To the most beautiful stranger I'll never know again...

The spotlight fades, the curtain falls;

I lay in the dark, close my eyes

And play audience to a celestial symphony of my very own.

Brilliantly lit stars scuttle across

with barely contained urgency.

Trying to find their way home in the dark;

Seeking their designated spot;

Collapsing, colliding, alligning;

Finally coming to a stand still;

To form a pattern - a semblance of home;

Playing their part in the constellation.

Lo and behold, a planet clothed in flaming orange

Darts acroos the sky, pauses to catch it's breath;

Then explodes - into a million little fragments;

Breathtaking, brutal and brilliant, all at once.

Dreams waiting to be sought, seen, serenaded;

And I wake up - to a new show, a new stage, new actors

and yet another spin around the sun!
I woke up from this dream on the morning of the 1st of January 2016 and something inside me shifted a little.

My mind wanders off;
She's cloaked in infinity.
Then she says, "hello."
I write haikus
Just like you.

What am I
Without my baggage?
Do I have what it takes
To be somebody with courage?

What am I
Without those who cling on?
Do I have it in me
To fly light, being anything but a pawn?

What am I
Without my limits?
Do I have the strength
To fathom my journey through all climates?

What am I
If I’m perfect?
Do I have the power
To change the world that lives to contradict?

What am I
If I’m but a spirit from my own past?
Do I have a future
So I can make this present forever last?
Patricia Arches Sep 2015
They always
Tell me
The skies
The limit
But when
They do
I reply
With a
Laugh and
Say why
Must I
Be limited
To just
The sky?
