Many invest their money in policies,
That will pay when one day they die
Some think by working hard each day
It will bring peace into their lives

Others place their trust in riches,
Worldly things which will only fade
But I have the greatest insurance policy,
For the LORD CHRIST, is with me today

And even though my body dies daily,
There is one thing which I can be sure
That when I leave this shell of flesh,
I will be with my LORD forever more

For He has given me His promise,
So that within I may rest assured
That imagination cannot comprehend,
What for me He does have in store

And though this world is troubling,
With many obstacles in our way
I know within the embrace of JESUS,
That my heart and soul will stay

For my faith will never allow me,
To depart the policy which pays true
And you can bank all on His promise,
That with Our LORD you will never lose.

I wrote a song the other day,
it was in a minor key
but believe me it was
far from sombre.
I wrote it about girl,
she doesn't know me,
but I know that if she
did, she would love me.
the way I do from afar.
My song is silent to her,
but to me its lasting.

Love is timeless
lasting, and brilliant.
Its not perfect,
nor ever will be.
But in its imperfections
it becomes  honest and true.
Love is colour,
its shape
it can be the light
and dark of every moment
in its timeless forming shape.
clueless babbling is the true
infection of blinding love.
I know I am babbling
but I know I am in love.

I touched your hand and never knew
I would suddenly fall in love with you
I never realized in a single moment
My dream would finally come true

I did not anticipate the serenity
Which falling in love would bring
Yet when I embrace you in my arms
I felt the joy that makes one sing

Every moment when you are next to me
My heart feels it has found heaven  
I never thought I would feel this way
As many amazing feelings would begin

I never knew after kissing your lips
My heart would come to know such pain
I never thought I would be sad and happy
When my heart would speak your name

When I find myself waiting for you
So anxious are the times embracing me
But all is made to become much better
By the joy in your smile I always see

I never imagined when I embraced you
My heart would be quickly swept away
Yet I found that magic moment to happen
As I received your gift of love today.

I try to be in the moment
But, lately, I see myself somewhere else:

I try to see what there really is to see
But, lately, I find myself seeing
Ones that are not here:

The vacant space upon times ethereal shores
Has me asking if Odysseus has ever touched before ?

The waves lapping , swirling sands across my feet
Leaves me little gold that I might keep

The thistle and thorns woven into a crown to wear
Placed upon with such gentle care

The shores all rock and cliff so high
How can I just climb on by?

Moments are dark , the sea will free
Come follow to the ends with me

The Isle is small just temporal best
Back home from a ten year's quest

He wades the shores and falls to knees
She bends down to claim his ease

They embrace the winds of time
That binds them to the threads of mind

We may not be here
But the words shall remain
Conveying our feelings
Only link to our hearts
Between the transient phase
The paper shall hold forth
Valiant words of the soul
Circumstances happy or sad
Words which flowed profusely
The pen that we held
To explore our being
Every signature of the ink
Will bear our uniqueness
A lasting impression
Of the poet’s life
