A small species in the vast jungle.
Full of predators, not friends.
When they want to bite you.
They aim for your head.
For me this is imagery of my school but it can be interpreted multiple different ways.

We leave things up to interpretation
Welcome to the hurtful nation
We give incentive to be alive
Open words to be despised
If you feel free to some advice
Listeners discretion is advised

We're a product if a product
And what the product brought us
Some are lost ones
Some are far from what has really cost some

Dangerous meanings make dangerous species
And what is between us is meaning
Still left to interpretation

Feel free to express
Whatever comes next
But just like a text
We're left to interpret its purpose
So clairty is barely applied
But fairly i should say
It's spread like butter

Because when its left to interpretation
We dont really know one another

The unknown lingers,
Just like every second,
Guesses can be made,
Utilize the senses,
Use the sixth knowingly,
Confident through the blur,
As opposed to blind guesses,
Evolve them into sure,
Intent that is pure,
Cannot be touched by flak,
For soaring even higher,
Remains in one intact,
With a choice to fly low,
Still,
Adds for another thrill,
Freezing lightning solid,
Unleash its strike at will,
Concentrate,
On fate,
To travel within destiny,
Leave behind the physical,
I shall use the rest of me,
Light's what casts shadows,
The Universe's recipe,
Life,
I say,
Test me,
6 or 9,
No line,
Top or bottom viewed,
Perception that factor,
That makes opinions skewed,
For both views are correct,
Yet the other just can't see,
Through the other's eyes what be,
See?
Attempt to unfold,
Sifting gold through gravel,
Decipher this here poem,
Let your mind travel,
Times and places,
Unknown,
Never a dull moment,
Grasp the present,
Own it.
Written 09/06/2018. To better explain the 6 or 9 part. Imagine: a 6 drawn on the ground, with no line under it, or above it. If 2 people were looking at it on the ground, one at the top, one at the bottom, one would see a 6, one would see a 9. Both would be correct. Perception.

Where the veil is thin
That's where I am
That's where you'll be
When our skies overlap
And our stars shine the same
We will see
You & me
Each other
Across the street

When the veil is thin
We are one and the same
Our paths will cross
We will meet again
I have never seen you
We have not touched
But when the veil is thin
Nothing will be too much

Where the veil is thin
Fates will intertwine
People will say hello
People will say goodbye

But where the veil is thin
For a moment
It will be just you & I

I am becoming.

Perception; reality.
Every human mind has its own duality.
Our good side, our bad side;
Life seems to always get the best of me.
Empty, of anything, that they claim to know that I need.
So empty, of feeling,
When all who criticize become unworthy of truly interpreting me.

Without a voice, I am powerless.
Situations arise that give me strength to confess, that I am a mess.
Disorganized, my thoughts are hidden underneath;
I search the depths of my soul to see what I can reap.
Words all scrambled; put them into order.
The writings of a word-thief in a mind of word-warder’s.

Left speechless, when all I say is meaningless.
The canvass is not unused, it has just not been revealed yet.
Artists are there at the start of things;
I am but a binary star upon a life made from strings.

Pull my rip-cord and let the words all flow;
Embrace the darkness we keep inside and let it show.
I am your Pinocchio.
You are my puppet mistress and my eternal muse;
I am just a thing to be used to amuse.
Your touch of love upon my love heart in pieces,
Let’s me become a ray of light inspired by your wish for a sun
And could you give me a hug please?
All light flows from your soul into me;
I breathe you in to let you see what I hide within.

I am becoming a better man, now I am being a better human being;
I am growing into the lover I always thought I could become.
You take away the fear and let me become what I should have been.
It is because of you that I am able to become something from nothing
And now this poem is written and your heart has been won…
Now my work is done.

All that we are

These are my thoughts;
Your interpretation is your own.
What am I but naught?
We are not alone.

Love is in ashes,
Too broken to fix.
Multiple cures have been attempted;
This is all there is.

Beauty without,
Darkness inside.
I have no doubt,
You took my pride.

Burn it all away;
Tear it apart.
Today is not just another day
And this is not the start.

Now and forever,
Lost in the dark.
Thoughts sent to never;
All that we are.

I often see poems that go by "untitled".
Some may even refer their poems as "Untitled" with capitalized importance.
"Untitled" is not to be, nor should it be, mistaken for "unimportant".
The work is still in process.
It has importance.

I often write poems that go by titles.
Some may even say that my poems are "Unoriginal" with cliche names.
"Unoriginal" is not to be, nor should it be, mistaken for "unintentional".
The work went through the process.
It has intention.

I often read poems because of their titles.
Some may even claim that their poems are "Profound" with unlimited potential.
"Profound" is not to be, now should it be, mistaken for "invaluable".
The work is still processing.
Its value has yet to be seen.

Yes, this is true, and you can take it at face value...

But it is also a metaphor.

Rainy days and dripping windows-
I look out. A mystical creature
Tiptoes into my front yard, knowing
He carries on his back the feature
Presentation: a man, maybe a knight.
His boots creak, walking up the steps
Of my front porch, a simpler sight
Than those from Romeo and Juliet
And other fairytale stories.
I slip on my fuzzy socks with gripping
Bottoms and head towards the door.
Silence. I open, and with his hand extending,
My feet join his on the wooden floor.
"Where are we going? I'm not sure
If I can be dressed like this and go that far."
He told me "The clouds are pure.
You just come as you are."

The title asks the same question that I have: "Who Is He?". Who does this appear to be for you?

the severe coldness shot me still
like
how your tenderness caught me still.
