This garden lays here with me in the center
Languid and lazy, languish all here who enter

(my feet planted firmly, im now growing complacent, cause the water is cool and sweet when it rains)

The grass sprouts in soft and the flowers are blooming
The daze of the heat here becomes, all-consuming

(though withered stems once stuck out of the dirt, ive noticed the flowers heads are starting to come in)

The warmth of the sun seems to lull and soothe
a slow beating heart, the troubles of youth

(it seems ive neglected to pull up the weeds)

The dirt remains damp from a rain shower long past
It feels cool against my skin, as sleep closes in fast

(but the flowers are coming in so prettily, and i am becoming quite sleepy)
It’s winter and I miss my flower garden even if I appreciate the cold

I will adorn my arms and legs with bracelets and jewels
I will let my hair grow out and fall to my ankles in pools
Because I am so lovely lovely lovely
I will dress my body with silk cloths and sweet perfumes
And place upon my head a crown of pretty, fragrant blooms
Because I will treat this form lovingly
Reconciling body neutrality with my love for “dressing up”

He holds a different, yet familiar beauty
Free of thought but full of intention
Melody and harmony dance to his voice
Powerful tenderness held in his eyes,
With gentle strength in his hands
All leaving me silent, in awe

He's a gentle giant
Tiptoeing around his soul flower
Delicately nurturing the delicate entity
In awe, he gawks from suns to moons
Pondering in anticipation, this wonder flower's bloom
Such a marveling creation, he wants to support forever
But he's so very very big
He could crush the little thing
And so he can never get too close.

As gentle as he may be, he will never be so gentle it doesn't break the flower
So he may only enjoy the flower from a distance, never being able to entwine
Until one day the flower blooms and evolves from a flower to a tree
For a soul-flower is complex enough to be this free
And it's roots caressed the giant's body, gently uniting with its everlasting partner in time

Becoming one, like the tree on top of the giant hill
Together, they slumber forever, in each other's presence, content, and still.

People visit this soul tree from time and time
For many believe that this tree will grant you the sight to obtain your own true love, you'll see

There was a time where this giant thought it would never get to truly love the soul-flower but could nurture it from a distance, and it did so happily.

This nurturing little did the giant know, caused it to bloom big enough to withstand the giant's strength, forming its own strength, in which it used to become one with the giant, for the love of one was so powerful that it amplified the being of the other.

There’s comfort and calm,
in your house, in you –
Like a different realm,
After all we’ve been through.

Your small touch—gaze alone—
is a home. Have you known?
about loving someone through friendship and wondering if they have always known

Like a quiet summer night,
it was—
or a gentle gust of wind,
and just as fleeting:
Their fated meeting.

I layed myself out bare,
bracing for the sting of another open wound.
You only came with tools to mend,
a needle and thread.
With gentle hands,
you stiched together every hole in my heart with love.

I want you to say my name.
I want it to spill past your lips while I run my fingers along the bend of your jaw.
I want you to grab my waist and pull me into you like the world might  take me away at any moment.
I want to feel you gasp as I slide my fingers from the nape of your neck into your soft hair.
I want to make you desperate for me in so many ways aside from physical.
I want to be the reason you shudder, sigh and surrender.
Let me be the one, let me be the thought in your head that keeps you up at night.
I want you to be the reason I am needed.

I lay next to you in a field of lilacs and lavenders.
The beautiful floral scent fills my senses
I am surrounded by all that is purple.
I watch as the brilliant blue sky is filled with gorgeous violet hues.
I listen to the birds as they soothe my anxious mind.
I put my hand into yours.
Our hands intertwine.
My left hand held by your right.
The strands of purple in my hair cascade around my face,
I am surrounded by purple.
A crown of purple flowers rests on my forehead.
I am surrounded by all that is purple.
