There is a face in the mist,
One that belongs not to me,
And it stares into my eyes,
Knowingly.
Tell me what you know!
For what have you come?
Why do you reach across the mists,
And stare?
I feel no matter where I am, someone is watching me contemptuously. So I strive to impress them.

A misty morning,
Beckons the sun.

Wavy rain clouds,
Up in the sky.

Another watercolor sunrise,
Drifting in your eyes.
A piece of heaven is waking up to her good morning.
and so began my mind diving; being
too sea deep – conscious thoughts
trying to swim underneath them; to see deep

and at its surface I had found…

us all being so beautiful – art in reflection
but we gaze at the bigger picture with ugly eyes,
an ugly gaze, with an ugly frame of mind

a tragic drowning picture, I could not see!

I had no eyes
until I saw the sun set

with a smile percolating
through golden leaves and
into me.

This same evening long ago
taught me how not to worry

of grand shadows huddled
impatiently at every corner

for they too withdraw
into periphery like all else

if you let them follow you
into the darkness.

Camus says "there's no sense in living,
And you should keep your eyes wide open"
But I'll devote my life to writing
and people, beautifully broken.
Amen, I guess

Him by my side,
lavender sky,
sun sinking low.

Hands intertwined,
Your warmth in mine,
thumb trace circles, divine.

Words unspoken,
but your eyes
told a thousand stories.
'those eyes' -  éblouissants....
