Sometimes I get tired
And I don’t feel like driving anymore,
So I let my emotions take the wheel.

They don’t drive as well as me.

They hit every pothole in the road
And we always end up crashing,
Far from where I set out to be.

Then it’s the long walk back,
To a place I recognise,
Past broken fences
And angry faces.

I drive down an empty road.

The only company I have is my music and the voices in my head.

My vision gets blurry, blending in with the darkness that consumes me.

I take every turn to sharp, I press harder on the gas.

My thoughts tell me to slow down, speed up, slow down, speed up.

Turn here.

I grasp the steering wheel, turning towards a dense collection of trees.

I see the light of another car and freeze.

I think back to everyone I care for.

Everyone I have tried to reach out to but was ignored by.

Am I afraid that dying will hurt those I care for or am I scared of dying with no one that cares for me?

There is only
one road into this heart-
no speed limit,
and no exits to
speak of.

The clips break

I’m struggling
Too hold everything together

My sky view shows a pilot twist
The sunset spirals while my flight dies

I see the windshield break
But I believe a blank canvas can still blink

I’m suffering
Too keep my passion from being passed on

The love of life
Drifts away
While my
Bullets create
Turns of O-pens
Circling back around
Too the plot of sunrises
The light begins a new trip
The wind brings back the shattered pieces
The glass is finally made to be seen through
And I start to see outside the review

As I drive by, electricity fills the sky!

What beauty these lights have within
this powerful sight.

There's so much energy, and the force is
tremendous!

Oh, how these lights are so pretty
but so dangerous.

If you blink, you just might miss it
...so look carefully!

And you will see, how spectacular
it is really.
I wrote this when I was driving to work one morning :)

The deep-seated feeling that comes from a challenge,
Cannot be underestimated,
A rush of excitement and a climbing thrill.
It is the fire that burns kindled by competition,
Harness that energy to your advantage,
and you shall conquer the field.
As we all know, a furious drive is key to the game.
