this,  their-poem, emitting their call-sign,
those who once checked the box
of in love..a status of joyful revelation,
for all to see, all passerby’s, all witnesses
to the outstanding glowing skin,
the perms-frozen half smiles that
never are erased, you secret it not
so much,
for your body entire expels
the scent secreted of a world
in orbit
around
each other

then the unexplainable, threads go worn,
a slower tearing, one by one, till there
is not one, nary more any, you then
check the invisible box,
“not in a relationship”
and it feels like
a load has
been dropped onto you
from on high, flattened,

now cloaked in a demeanor
that cries out
they
put a load
right on me,
and you seek
excuses to recall ecstasy and

you start dancing to forget,
like a centrifugal whirlpool’s vortex,
whipping up the air surrounding

to heat a forgetting, till the until,
of collapsing shame offers up
arms to drown you, a relief offering,
and the words to “Yesterday”
are everywhere
reverberating

walking down the street
a somebody smiles to at, just,
for you,
without cause,
but a causal triggering
a singular event,

just a smile with edged up corners,
and suddenly you feet golightly,
and inexplicably inextricably
in the moment it is
all you can see,
and one starts to dance
to well
remember

and a poem
forms upon your silently moving
lips,
and a dance to remember
is finished,
starts up
a new one,
with similar familiar steps
a dance to believe  in~

and laugh when
you say your name

out loud

you!

are the poet of the way,
a new word choreographer

and there will be a way,
always another way…

A variegated flower dances with fiery passion
With his gallant cavalier the wind
The fresh sea breezes
With the smell of salt and seaweed
While gently as a feather he touches you
How he spins your leaves
How he swings your variegated petals
Spreading  your reverence to the whole world !

This dance is as old as the world
What old lovers are you two
Together from time immemorial
You dance together

And I stand beside you with admiration
And i look at you with trepidation in my heart
And I'm grateful for the opportunity
To be a witness to  your dance !

She's pretty in pink
And she dances
With such grace and
Magic in her eyes.

How social is a "social" dance exactly?
Depending on one's culture, does it vary?
How "intimate" do you consider intimacy?
Depending on which parts of your body?
How would you define what's touchy?
Depending on where you want it, maybe?
But when do friends dance, exactly?
Is it every after midnight, when they're free?
Or when all eyes gaze, at afternoon at three?
And where do friends dance, precisely?
Is it at the supermarket, with so much glee?
Or when they're uninhibited, at some party?
So how do friends dance, really?
Would you be so kind as to teach me?
Would you be graceful enough to guide me?
Would you step first and lead me?
Would you stop last to kiss me?

let's dance on fate's might!

Though the cruelty , the fate allocated
Let's be certain as it had to be fated
Despite the diverse colors he showed
And in spite of the demise ardors he owed

Let's mend the wreckage offered by this fall
The storm is over you and I are still standing tall
Let's re-write the hymns, by what once he abide
Hymns of our longings which we couldn't hide

Let's wander our darkened way
Let's try to catch a glimpse of a shining day
Let the beat flow through the lap of night
Let's keep on dancing on fate's might!

This is my house, where
I can freely dance
Where I can be,
Without a second glance.
Where I can freely pray,
Thank you for hearing,
Seeing and providing.
Your cooling rain
deepens Your promises.

We watch for rattlesnakes as we walk
And after nearly bitten by death
Grab them by their gleeful heads
Deep holes we dig
Soon doused in gasoline
Where the creatures are flung atop their brethren
The devil's eyebrows curling into one another
Soon enough
The sparks fly from our feet
Slabs of flint scraping and gliding

Calling ourselves civilized as we waltz above
The rattling of natural beauty

A triolet
     's a pirouette
In a ballet
A triolet
(Or should I say
     A triolette?)
A triolet
     's a pirouette.

Dancing like
Spinning is
Basically
What dancing is
Touching more than
Either of us touches
Dizzy now
Falling and
Catching ourselves
In a moment
And you get
Into them
I want to
Share in your
Joy -
Don't change the song, not yet
I just got into it
Once we can breathe again
We will be over it

Still stuck on the fence
Forced to traverse a world that still doesn't make sense
I could embrace the ignorance
But I don't want to take that stance
So I find myself stepping on toes during this awkward slow dance
I wouldn't call it happenstance,
Not a chance
The culprit is this toxic, three-way romance
Between anger, my dark passenger and everything I can't forget to remember
Nothing to see here folks,
At least not at first glance
And that's enough to keep me in this trance
