I'll be strong for you.
Usually I'm the anxious one,
Scared in crowds and streets.
But your pain is crippling you;
And I know I can be strong.

She asked me if I wanted to go
I told the truth, I told her "no"
I'd much prefer to stay right here
And if I could, I'd disappear
Well, she got mad and asked me "why"
She said that I don't even try
I said I couldn't handle crowds
They close me in and scream so loud
She scoffed and said "oh, that's the case"
With disappointment on her face
"It makes it difficult to breathe
When closed in tight, the people seethe
I hear my heartbeat in my hand
My legs , they shake, and I can't stand
I try to hide, but don't succeed
People notice, my faults decreed"
"Well, this is how you learn," she said
Which hit me like a brick of lead
I said, "No, that's not how it is
You think you are, but you're no wiz"
"You should go out; you're a recluse
To socialize is no abuse
Face your fears, and live you're life
You're causing everyone such strife"
Even if I wasn't afraid
I'd still prefer quiet and shade
I guess I'm going anyway
Here comes another stressful day

Can you see me?
Can you really?
Because last time I checked I was invisible
Lost in a crowd that seemed indivisible
Where you couldn't tell one person from the next
Regardless of what demon was wringing their necks
But now you say you can see me?
And now you say you will love me unconditionally?
Because last time I checked you were blind to my pain
Blind to the times I stood out in the rain
Rather than go inside and face my fears
And now you want to wipe my tears?
I don't need you anymore
I can stand on my own two feet
I can walk inside where I will meet
My demons face to face
And then they will finally be erased
And I will be free
*May death set me free

Breathe in, out, in, out, in
Her lips formed the words as she scrunched up her nose, her eyes shutting tightly.
Hands shot out and gripped onto the bag of the person leading her,
"Don't leave me" she whispered so they couldn't hear
So they couldn't notice the tears.
Besides if they did then
then they'd feel obligated to help.
Teeth bit down ******* her bottom lip, blood seeping slowly into her already crazed senses.
Now I've hurt myself too. ****. **** **** fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck
Repetition wasn't an option, it was the only way to think when in a crowd. It was the only way thoughts stuck in her head.
Her knuckles were turning white as she gripped on harder with every passing body that bumped into her. Getting lost was not an option. Someone would try to help her and just see that she was a freak.
Freak freak freak freakfreakfreakfreakfreak.
Don't let them see. She couldn't let them see the short, hasty breaths or the wild, big eyed looks of panic. She couldn't let them see the speck of blood on her lip or white, sweaty knuckles.
It had to be over soon though right? Her right eye peaked at the scene around her, and the people were thinning out. Slowly she released her grip on the bag, shaking fingers being shoved into her pockets which only felt like they were now vibrating her entire self. She returned her eye to the ground as she tried to force out slower, uneven breathing. Her friend looked back at her with a sympathetic smile.
Her cheeks turned bright red, they did notice. Did they mind? It didn't seem like it. But who knows. All she knew was she only had limited time to prepare herself for the next round in the crowds.

meandering,*
i'm the lightweight
(see through) ghost light
shining through the crevices of
the coloured rays.
i'm the one that's always there and can't be seen.

It’s in crowds that I miss you more,
in crowds, your absence ****** my heart the most,
In solitude, not so much.
‘cause in solitude, I’ve learnt to live without you.

Think about the one person that wasn't there.

Don't hope. **** hope: the baby that cries and wakes you every now and then.

Don't wait.
Don't let your heart burn for a friend who herself disappeared in the crowd for 'until next time'.

Don't let anyone
Ruin
Your short life!

In the over-crowded buildings
Rife is passive creatures
That attend purely through duty
There is distraction, mischief
And never-ending procrastination

A sea of faces swarm the room
With waves of cliques crashing through
Around this vastly crowded place
My eyes are drawn to one single thing
Not that of noise or familiarity
But to *you

We shall learn to fly
And leap of the mountain cliff
" Let's hop in together" you say
We'd dive in a deep blue ocean
Waves crashing through the roof
Overwhelming our emotions
Perils to the minds treasure
And shout till we lose our voice
Wash out from the cage and hold to freedom
Wash out the soot of our past And born a new
Like the phoenix being reborn From its own flame
Be like a rockstar no one has ever seen
Singing the ballads of glory
Screaming for love,justice and faith
Swinging the crowds around
Getting high on our adrenaline
Jumping high and crashing down to the ground
Setting the world on fire
The fault is in me and its in you.
Mortal beings we might be
But we could live forever
My lovely lady and i wrote this poem together. We often dream the similar dream of being daring enough to take off without looking back and starting new and burning the pastures of past.
