i'll always have a glimpse of you
like the clouds, anywhere
i would see you

i'll always have a glimpse of you
just a glimpse of you
it would only be me
it would always be a glimpse by me

just a glimpse by me

You
Who taught the sea to sing?
called the clouds to dance?
Who let the wind wander around?
made the mountains to stand?

Creation’s beauty
has me perplexed
yet I’m not surprised;
not asking why or who
for I know it was You.

Sky
she lifted her head to her friend...

Greeting her
with a kiss
in his breeze and
a smile
in his clouds, they set off on an adventure
in each other’s eyes.

Yesterday, clouds gathered in the sky
Covering the sun,
Yesterday, I saw the ravens fly
I saw the squirrels run.

The wind stormed on the walls in rage
Her fury knew no bounds,
Violently she rattled the cage
Of the hell hounds.

She flew from tree to tree
Unsettling its leaves and flowers,
A hive that sheltered a swarm of honeybee
Fell in the pond, for the frogs to devour.

A thunderclap echoed from a distance
A prelude to what is to come,
Shattering everything in existence
Leaving everything numb.

Enveloped in darkness
The canvas was coloured grey and black,
It had an air of stillness
Yet, there was something that it lacked.

And then it started to rain
On the brown soil of the small town,
Easing the pain
That was hidden behind the smile of a clown.

Birds of a feather
Migrating to better weather
Through these clouds
Our hearts are tethered

Through storm and bliss
Landscapes,
seascapes
Perched wherever the sky scrapes

Gazing afar for where to fly next
But with this clip in my wing
Racing rats all around
Four walls are all I see now

Yet each time I accept my fate
I see the clouds move in heartache
Perched wherever the sky scrapes
I used the clouds as a staircase

I used to gaze at the clouds all day long
I used to love to dance in the rain
I used to love the sunshine on my skin
now I never go outside
I just watch as passion seeps from my life

I used to walk on eggshells for you
I never let them crack or make a sound
I used to stand on a pedestal with you
despite my fear of heights
but what did you ever sacrifice for me?

I'm not the same as I once was
the smiles that I wore
have all gone out of season and expired
but out of all the things that I have loved and lost
you are the one goodbye I don't regret

Keep your pedestal
I'm building myself a shrine
A person like me
Was meant to be worshipped

Grey days are when the clouds puff a tantrum,
Smoking the sky out of its cozy, azure, play-space
With a big fuzzy blanket that covers the high plains,
And no holes for the blue to poke through.

Occasionally, they spout out their tears
And pelt the poor people below
With a loaded water pistol.

And such people sprout out umbrellas,
Or search for storm's shelter,

Yet one person always prefers to drown in clouds' melancholy.
Today was a cloudy day, a particular weather I personally love and live in.

The clouds are heaven's cherry blossoms,
Scattered on the branches of dawning day
Sugary with the cream of off white,
Crowned with a diadem of golden light,
And by noon shall be whisked away
