I use to like being alone
Being free to do things on my own
When I didn't have any friends
I didn't try too hard to pretend
That I didn't need acceptance

I was very introverted
When my past was deserted
There was so much I wanted to do
But, then I look over and saw you
You taught me how to be brave
When I wanted to escape from yesterday
You helped me see another day

Yes, my dear friend you taught me
The things I didn't hear, or see
Thanks to you, I no longer wanted to be alone
I'm getting tired of living inside my zone
You always told me I'm not a child
So, for now on I'm grown.
A poem for a very special friend.
When Great
Mystery invites you
At your cherished
Last days to cross
The bridge from
One Sun's realm
To another one ~
All your true beauty
Resplendently reveals
In a hug, in gentle whispers
To our little ones ~ wisdom secrets
Gained within abundant years. . .
And how good they are, bringing
Colourful intuitive drawings
Sweet children's creations
  And suddenly when
You talk with them
I see your older brothers kindness
And his wisdom upon your face
They shimmer with love
And strange silence
Sensing illness
And suffering
Waving goodbye
You give a gentle caress
Removing one untamed tress
From well known forehead
With your beloved tired hand

All that really matters at the end
Is how many breaths you have
From Mother Earth to Ancient Stars
That on your life journey
Good memories
Of blissful moments
Are all that's important
Skiing on sparkling snow slopes
Together, Travelling, having
A great laugh after visiting
Venice and Peggy Guggenheim
Museum, Train moving,
Reading some splendid poems
About life's happiness, homeland, bread,
Mother's love
Grandpa's and Grandchild's
Sacred connection
Singing a native song
About our most cherished tree
A tune you make without words
And you sing with vowel sounds
And we sing with tears in our eyes
Holding hands in silence

One Does Not See What They Have Lost,
Until One Loses All That They Have,
And Realize It Cannot Be Replaced,
No Matter How Rich They May Be,
Or How Much Money They Spend Trying To Replace It.

Love Is Not Bought.
It Is Earned,
Cherished,
Sought After,
And Treasured Above All Else.

Don't Deny And Throw Away What You Have,
Cause By The Time You Realize How Much They Love You...

It Could Already Be Too Late.
It's Never to late to go home and forgive who you love,
to Ask them out one more time,
To Bend down on one knee and ask
"Will You Marry Me?"
But don't wait until their Heart is Stolen by Another,
Or until they're 6 Feet Beneath The Ground
If I die tonight,
One scary theory
Is true

If one memory repeats,
For all eternity
I hope it is about you
A scary but beautiful theory after death: your most cherished memories will repeat over and over and over again.

Finer moments
Chiseled and crafted
with hands that care
Hearts rhythm of love
Finer moments
will remain etched forever
Testimony of dreams
that came alive with love
Finer moments
are to be cherished

Caught unaware
Heart’s naïve
Breezy feeling
Beautiful ambiance
Colors seep in
Lovely hues
Lofty demands
Open arms
Hearts consent
Willing prisoner
Timid no more
Brazen display
Affections galore
Souls levitate
From unknown depths
to unexplored summit
Magnetic pull
Desires unleashed
Feels triumphant
With every move
Silent assassins
Willing prisoners
Breached confines

Off                   comes my slip, socks, sanity and an echo
Goes                 up my spine.
The                   men
Film                  my sinking heart
And                  dive into the
Filth                  plastered against my mind without a thought
Of                      what moments define me.
That                  girl who used to wear a
Shirt                  embroidered with flowers and had a mother
Making             her a meal with love is now working the
Room               with what's left of her.
For                    -ward motion depicts nothing
More                 than bones and memories never cherished.
