When I let go of the illusions
Of shoulds and musts
Life becomes simple
I can now focus on
The only thing that matters
I take a breath
When life overwhelms me I find it helpful to know that "this too shall pass."

Life, death and rebirth
The eternal cosmic dance
Day will turn to night

The invisible cloak gently floats
Brought about by fleeting thoughts
As negative ions continue to flow
Lo and behold
A weighted coat now soaked
It's heavy presence diverts growth

Complex context controlless
Slight shortness of breath
Shoulders and neck show signs of stress
Remain calm as this moment will pass

Shake to break the chains that hold
Twist then turn throughout their folds
Simplified code creates new modes
Move into motion to lighten your load

Breath
rushes in.
moves out.

Again,
   rushes in.

Who breathes?
does anyone, at all?
Amazing!

I hear you hum,
from the crispy leaves
and mellow rivers,
the gentle breeze
and the arboreal creatures,
breathing the calm,
exhaling the fear,
listening to lush greens,
embracing the forest within
Nature's Symphony

This is the chronicle of life.

The stars collided,
The asteroids went astray,
And the comets pour down like snow.
What we don’t know—
Is the breath of life beyond the void.
The waves of sound that signifies a kingdom;
The clashing of worlds and survival of men.
That’s how it is.
Time and space is immaterial.
Without doubt,
The universe is vast, enormous and mysterious from afar.
However, life will always be a war.
Fought between men—
With bows and arrows,
With swords and shields,
With spears and poisons,
With guns and cannons.
And in the end,
It will be a bloodbath.
As red as scarlet;
As black as the darkness.
Yet its horrors and ghosts form part of what we call— history.
That’s how it is.
Time and space is immaterial.
The universe is vast, enormous and mysterious from afar.
And all of these will be forgotten:
Like a death of a distant star.

This is the chronicle of life.

Freedom
is the feeling you get
when you breathe your first breath
and your ribs
no longer
press into
the floor.

The wind is whirling around
But I am bound,
With no-one around,

The air is
trying to suffocate me
making me dizzy

Still I am searching
for air
to breathe.
