Make us throw off contentment
To find something more

Grandeur's delusion
                                                                                       is an allusion
standing on the precipice of greatness

                                                                       it's something intrinsic, ain't it?

be bold
take a chance
even if it's
r e c k l e s s

be careful
play it safe
even if you're
r e s t l e s s

follow your heart
trust your instinct
it doesn't matter if you're
m i n d l e s s

listen to your mind
always think twice
it doesn't matter if you're
h e a r t l e s s

chase your dreams
always work hard
in the end it won't be
p o i n t l e s s

be who you are
no matter who that is
don't let yourself be

You remind me of Jazz.

The way you sway in and out of my mind.
So gently.
So boldly.
The way you pull me along with the pining in your voice.
Lulling me in to memories of our false Joy.

What can be sharper than any weapon?
Words?  Yes, words,
that can deport us to the hell of heaven,
which 'fcourse is worse than hell
for  it is hell in the guise of heaven,
which sets us flying high for one moment,
to be brought back down the next moment,
with the next onset of words,
when reality and truth dawns on us,
clearing off the mist in the mind.
Now while all are wondering
what in the world I am talking about,
let me tell you,
I speak of hypocrites,
I speak of those who 'think' they are witty,
who 'think' they have words flashing
across their brain,
at their beck and call,
who are painstakingly careful to plunge their
weapon coated with superficial assurance,
only to deceive straight thinkers,
And push them into the world of misery,
'N to give themselves a little tap on the shoulder,
when they succeed.
Whoa! A heartfelt success of a hypocrite!
Now I wonder in total bewilderment,
why they are exceptionally elated,
when they speak pleasing words
just before their haughty, nasty blows.
Should we call them witty
for not realizing that the person in front,
might as well be capable of such harm,
had they not considered the feelings of others?
When I see  one such hypocrite,
I have a burning desire to retaliate,
but react nonchalantly,
for I know better than to be a hypocrite.

My copacetic life:
Boring, plain, safe.
I am only resting and waiting
To just stop existing
I never waited for you
Or the fear you instill to me
Because why would I
Angel/Devil
I do not know you
But I want to

don’t make me roadtrip
across four states
don’t make me drive
for nine hours;
to convince you to return
to remind you of the truth
to make you see the path
you are being called to.
to convince you He has a plan
to remind you of the passion inside
to make you choose this life
you are being called to.

be bold, brave, courageous
never let fear hold you down;
be an unstoppable fire
and turn this world around.
for a good friend who needs to be reminded of God's promises and calling upon His life, for a friend who has potential to impact this world.

Insane some, wild some
Show some

Right then, they them
Palatable Showmen

High hold, glimmering gold
Unfaithful men of bold

Hypnotic beads of satin,
Women of exotic

Crippling scars at birth
Becomes this fellows  worth

Odd...
Melodies of Nightmares

A mirror, a hole - of Human's participating role
Amused, by Truly our fears our utter disgust,
But under the tent one feeling robust

Hidden in intoxicating luster
Mildly prompting the feelings of pride, and a condescending guise

Under the Fabricated tent, there's a disgrace
We feel beauty, oh how I, the better man!

Only because it's not our face
