Grin to squint on Sol's own cozy splendor,
Woe to know thee shan't embrace her.
I have a gay friend who I love very much, but I'm not gay, so I can't be romantic with him, despite my desire to. So I wrote a poem about appreciation. About sipping life in, no matter how thirsty.

when someone knows how bad you can become;
How much of a mess you can be,
or are;
How much trouble you can cause;
And what words you've been keeping.

..But still -
they want your presence in their days.

They appreciate you,
along with what you can
or cannot give them.

And they make you laugh,
when you don't
even dare to smile.

Departing from the night
the moon kissed the sun
whispered either good night or good morning
cold day's air is born
waking up the flowers
from the dim light of the dawn

Hello, said the rising sun
Eyes were drunk from the orange juice sky,
a lovely sight, serenity at its best
The birds started chirping, peace it brings to my heart
Smell of coffee and tea
Lingers in the morning air

A very calming effect of the first light
brings a genuine joy to my being
simple moments like this
are always worthy of appreciation
are a proof that there is more to life
Good Morning Friday ;) Stay positive!

82.
you don't want me?
you don't have to have me
and i can leave
as quickly as i arrived
you're so sure you own me
and i am at your beck and call
with no life of my own -
don't fool yourself
you are not my world
and if you can't see me
nor appreciate me
and pull me around
as your little trophy prize -
i'm great at disappearing
just watch me
i don't even need to say good bye
this is a great big *******, to you, for not appreciating me entirely and thinking i am always going to be around when you decide you "want" me.

Never forget to turn your straightener off
Always thank your teachers
Buy your clothes because you feel pretty in them, not because it's what everyone is wearing now
Don't give yourself up to the wrong guy, even if he seems like the right guy
Eat your vegetables and finish your dinner
Take off the makeup, you don't need it
No, you don't look fat in that dress
Always pray before bed, it helps trust me
Appreciate your first kiss and tell me before you tell your dad
Don't be selfish, share everything that you can
Be with the guy who makes you laugh
Go to every game and school dance offered
Appreciate the weekend bonfires
Get a job and save your money
Always carry sunglasses in your purse
Pick the college you want to go to, not because it's closer to your boyfriend
Don't sleep in your makeup, you'll ruin the pillows
Set more than one alarm
Go to church even when you have lost your faith
Call me if you got yourself into trouble, and no I will not get mad
Keep a blanket and gloves in your car at all times
Kiss me and your father goodbye every time you leave
Call your grandparents more often
Do it today, don't wait until tomorrow
Appreciate the small things like Sunday morning coffee and hammocks
Take lots of pictures
And always love yourself first

Your imprint's emplacement
Massed fate's apogee,

Where words become pavement
Whilst time sets them free.

Too bad you didn't like it.
I actually wanted to make you feel special.
I don't write love poems
For this reason.
I wrote this for you and you couldn't even pretend to like it.
This is why I don't.
You want me to change so badly that
I did.
Made a change in my life.
You.

"I should be more important that your book!"
One time I wanted to write
You never wanted to read
But you made it all about me ******* at life
like always
You're insane if you think that's okay.
To take my favorite and most important part of myself
And say you're angry it's not you.

You don't care for my passions
Unless you're the only one.

DID YOU KNOW I SEW AND ******* ROCK AT IT?
IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES ME HAPPY THESE DAYS
YES, DUH.
SINCE YOU MADE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR
YOU DO NOT CARE

Spoiled people don't understand the value of trade
You have it all
And you don't know it.

Appreciate,
No matter how small you think something is,someone somewhere wishes for that very thing,
Appreciate,
No matter how bad you think your life is,someone somewhere can't even breathe independently,
Appreciate,
As you're hating on your body remember that someone somewhere has no limbs, sight nor hearing ability,
Appreciate,
Its easy to take our families and friends for granted, but we must
Appreciate them.
For others wish they had even just one friend.
Appreciate.
We take so many things for granted, perhaps its our nature, but gratitude is definitely something worth pursuing.
In the end, our lives are nothing more than a collection of a few perfect moments. They are seldom, these moments, but they don't cease to exist. Nor do they promise to return, so appreciate one when you are lucky enough to receive it.

Yes I am now walking away.
Because so far all I can hear is a "No".
Felt you're scared of something which didn't exist at the first place.
Is it the fear of commitment?
Or you're just......
Let's face it, playing.
I have thought of it.
The words you have said before
Were they true? Or just?

But I'm now walking away with a smile on my face.
AWAY FROM MY OWN MADE CAGE.
