Found someone, fits like a charm
Never mind false alarm.
Queen of Nothing Mar 2016
it was a time of new and innovating burglar alarms for houses,
she bought one
and she became a part of the modern culture then.

everything seemed nice;
she thought no stranger will ever be able to come to her home
or even take something from her.

well, she was right,
no one did,
except her.

her foolish imagination made some stranger in her head.
but after a while he wasn’t a stranger anymore,
in her head.

even if he was just a stranger,
she was prepared to let him see her home.

and she did.
she let him.

alarm went on.
but it was false alarm.

no one actually came,
except her,
and her imagination.

no one will ever come,
not one intruder will ever be close to her house.
she understand now.
why?
well, regardless of modern alarm or unique furniture
that house wasn’t so beautiful from the outside,
and the interior wasn’t so well-set,
it was a little bit messy.

but at the end, it was all her fault,
she decorated that house by herself.
Oversleeping in the morning
Talk about False Alarm

I once lived a night when shooting stars rain down from the sky until morning.
My sight blurred to pastel ball of lights that filled the streets outside my window.
My feet itch to silently walk that empty road,
My eyes beaming with a desire to keep everything inside the pockets of my shirt.

Everything was perfect until the lighting struck, truth carved deep in my skin,
Screaming in a deafening tone that all of it was just a dream.

I am generally poised like the deep and steady ocean calm;
but with whatever happens on the surface I do have a qualm.
There are many ripples and waves that arise and subside
but they are really all signs that there’s life down inside.

I encompass all the land that rises from my surface;
which at times becomes much like a blazing furnace
and provide moisture to the clouds and atmosphere above
which in turn send it back down in grateful tears of love.

The storms of nature often pick me up to cause a disturbance
which may have something to do with my own protuberance;
but these are really the reactions to all the inhabitants on the land
who with their ignorance are plundering everything by their hand.

Once in a while I have to shrug my shoulders and shift mantle
which causes an earthquake on the land and a major upheaval;
as I have no one who can scratch my back or understand my need
because I’m plagued by parasites that are very troublesome indeed.

I don’t intentionally mean to do anybody any harm
but have to follow my instincts and sound the alarm;
in such a way that will get the message across
regardless of any relative notions of gain or loss.

You know what?
Dear alarm clock?
With your pretty pink dock.
You stalk.
Break my eardrums.
Let. Me. Sleep.
You are weird,
Like no other.
And I begin to ponder
Wonder.
How do you know at what time I wake up?
Or I turn on the radio?
How do you know if I set an alarm for the next morning?
Why are you so loud and mourning.
I don't know about you,
But.
Let.
Me.
Sleep.
Don't be creepy.
Let.
Me.
Sleep.
Don't be loud.
Let.
Me.
Sleep.
Don't know the time.
Let.
Me.
Sleep.
PLEASE.
LET.
ME.
SLEEP!

Just in case you didn't notice,
Dear alarm clock,
Don't mock.
I have an appointment with my bed and pillow.
So.
Shush.

And.
Let.
Me.
Sleep.
I just felt really inspired by my morning and how I don't like it when my alarm clock buzzes because I love sleeping and can sleep for years nonstop. Or go live with bears and hybernate right next to them. Idk....

My body was covered in chills,
the sound of your voice made me complete.
Not even the sound of sirens could alarm me.
You were perfect.
And I was not.
But that didn't stop you from screaming to the world that I was.
I loved you.
and you loved me.

Oh Alarm clock
I do hate you
Beeh beeh beeh you go
Till stir and I get up

I don't do sweet music
Bells or the cute rooster
Cell phone just not loud enough
I really need a giant shove

Across the room you sit
Small in corner discreet
But at 6am you shout
And sometimes freak me out

I try to wake before you
Stumble corner fall over
If you didn't play your part
I'd be late for work and flustered

Thanks alarm clock I love & hate you
mostly not needed but i don't know what day that is ..

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
Give in
Get up.
Covers off
Silence the drill sergeant
2 seconds in
And I'm late
LATE
LATE!
French shower, PSSST! PSSST!
Dress like a clown
Keys,
Cash
Phone,
Out of the door
The street as empty as my mind
The sky, puddles of grey
No one.
No movement
A really dead raven on the door step
It had been drinking
from a bottle of fabric conditioner.
I let go of my balloons.
Spin my bowtie
A kaleidoscope paints the air.
Approaching from the distance
buzz! buZZ! bUZZ!,BUZZ!
Use and abuse as you like. Feel free to comment as I'm wide open to suggestions.
