Sho Victoria
I, suddenly, got drown
In this ocean
Swimming deeper and can't get up
Diving the sea of an endless doubt

I, suddenly, felt lonely
In this world,
Fighting without a cause
Shedding blood without a pause

I, suddenly, felt the frown
In this face
Smiling as I reaped what I've sown
Sharing happiness I don't even own

I, suddenly, felt empty
In my heart
Living everyday like a fool
Slipping farther away from my soul

Because I am a one-man warrior
Fighting without an armor
My sword were long gone
As well as my helm got away and run

From the single lieutenant
Of life's greatest war
A losing side with ending that does not look so far
But also a winning one beneath the endless battle scars.

For everyone who fight armorless against the war inside their mind.

If you're not careful you can get lost in the woods of your mind.
My piece of advice would be to bring with you a guide.

Someone to hold your hand and walk you through.
So that if something is lurking you have someone to hold onto.

Make sure the person you bring is trustworthy.
That they'll stick around when it starts to get scary.

Things go bump in the night and more-so in these woods.
Those are your demons and often misunderstood.

They won't hurt you, no not even a scratch.
But they'll turn you against yourself, watch and sit back.

Don't bring a weapon, no don't even try to strike.
You'll end up cutting your wrists with the blade of your own knife.

If you have to go alone because you're left with no choice.
Clinch your fists, close your eyes and follow your own voice.

Please heed my lecture as I've been there before.
I've gotten myself so lost that I still can't find the door.

I’m sorry I’m not good enough
I’m sorry I’m too loud
I’m sorry you don’t like me
But none of that is my fault
I can’t be what you want
And I hurt myself because of that
You don’t see what you say affects me
You don’t notice the self-inflicted wounds
You just keep adding on and on
On way I’ll break ya know,
With every words said against me
Another cut is made
Soon enough there won’t be enough room
When the day comes
Maybe I’ll have had enough of this abuse
Until then,
I’ll take what you give me
I’m just sorry you can’t see the good in others
I’m sorry you can’t see your own flaws
But sometimes sorry isn’t enough
Yeah, I hope you like it. Thanks for reading!

People are dark and so am I.
I try to fight the darkness with light.
But it’s hard because people are dark.
It seems pointless to fight the darkness all day when I know I will only be engulfed by it at night.
But still, I cling to the little shards of light I do find.
I cling for dear life.

Rebel Heart
...
And that was when
I finally realized
My demons made home
In the valleys of where
My wounds ran so deep
They became scars
Full of ghosts and regret
Echoing nothing but
The deafening screams
Of silence once lost
(I'm going to post up pieces of this particular poetry collection in the next few days that RebelHeart never got to publishing from years ago. I just miss her a little extra and I've always regretted not being able to see her hurting in the years past. Now that I do know she's hurting, I can't help her. Funny how life works. ~BM)

A Grimm
Just at the edge,
Not yet overflown.
So close to that moment,
But still not down that road.
Almost there,
Hoping i won’t make it.
Just a thin line
Between both sides
There can be no turning back-
but i’m already there
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying, Goodbye

You'll stay in my heart
But you going out of my life

Love hurts
Fall off of a bridge
It hurts less

My depression is just lots love
Compressed in a glass ball...waiting to be caught
But overtime I try to throw it to someone
They flinch and it breaks on the ground

The warm ache of *****
Touches my stomach with soft
Hands and all i can think
Is why
and the tickle in my throat
From nicotine's playful kiss
Makes me sicker than before
Woozy and exhausted
I cry to myself
And wonder why you're far
Gone from me
Loneliness caresses my face
With hot tears
While I panic
And want to die
In the place that doesn't feel like home

Sylvia Plath
"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"
Wine comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, and I sigh.
