Brown Eyed Beauty

It caught me by such pleasant surprise
The very first time I looked into the depth of your eyes
For I have never felt such intense butterflies
Or had my blood pressure so quickly rise

All I know is you have something special within your soul
It's truly magical
One look at you
And suddenly I feel whole.

Her wisdom is vivacious and magnetic
When our lips touch it's beautifully kinetic
We are just two energies brought together as one
To charge each other up until our time on this Earth is done.

Your lungs are those who inhaled the precious
cigarettes nicotine,
But tell me why I was the only one being poisoned
My already decaying heart
Taking on more damage
By the toxic lies
Your taunted tongue told

Brain is reporting effected too
Just another ***** stimulated by you
Even though our time is through
My bloodstream still craves your toxins,
Exactly like the way
Your lips crave the end of your cigarette,
It's really a shame you never wanted me as bad as that.

While You're Away
Jessica McFall Sep 2015
18 minutes

And I have daydreamt of you
Each of the 1080 seconds passed,
Contemplating how I want to be
so much better than your last.
Come on
Lets get lost in each others eyes
While we forget the dark horrors of our past
Don't back track baby
Let's sit in this sunny moment and
Bask
Just like the sun
This burning desire won't go away
If you're with it, I am as well
You know I'm here to stay.

30 minutes

And I've come to realize that
I can't even stand to be away from you,
for 1800 seconds.

If you said mark my words
I would scour for every color Sharpie I could find,
T
o document your precious word

Every line for line

Oh how I would hope for you to say
Please won’t you be mine,

Please will you stay.
How enamored I would be to write these words,

Permanently

My mind cannot stay peaceful
When you keep pushing back our time
My heart races more
Fears continuously climb.

My stomach sits uneasy,
My heart heavy in my chest,
You know, this isn't the first time
You're proving to be just like the rest

It's the same lullaby's whispered so sweetly in my ear,
Telling me just about every word I've ever wished to hear,
But please darling, tell me
How long do you evade those you claim most dear?

Relationships so misleading,

In this war of love, I'm retreating

Wounded by fatal bullets through the heart,

I've already lost too much blood for a new start.

Let me just lie here, Dying

Maybe someone will see me here, hurt,

Crying.

Solemn, blank faces all look down but then go past.

Fatality has come my way,

Unfortunately, but yet at last.
Very old poem

Grown vibrant by the sun
My beautiful flower you may just be the one
For
I have never seen anything so fine
With your petals and color most divine
I am so lucky you appeared here
In this garden of mine.

My path of thinking is not the same,

and you’re the only one I have to blame,

Because when I look into your eyes

I’m drowning in a sea of captivation,

Not even struggling nor fighting the temptation.

There is no resistance as I sink,

Not even a need to think,

The decision has been firmly made,

To the bottom of your sea I will gladly wade,

Even as the water fills my lungs

And the light starts to fade,

I’ll smile and be in pure ecstasy,

Because you would’ve been the last person I laid eyes on,

The last person next to me.
Also an old one, one of my personal favorites

Remnants of salt water rest on my lips
A sacred reminder that it is my own
Tears which gather and fill the ocean

Waves of reality crash over my head and
drag me forcefully under
As it dawns on me
I'm only drowning myself.

Swing, Swing
I'm just your puppet
You're playing with my heart
Strings, strings
Throwing out our bond to leave me for her
Now you say it's still me that your heart
Clings, clings
Your actions don't match your words,
So why would you tell me these
Things, things
I think you're full of ****
I don't want any of the pain your love
Brings, brings

I've found unworldly perfection
In the glorious reflection
Of your soft eyes
For, they tell no lies
And what they say
Molds the way
For you and I.

Two weeks of pure bliss are left upon your silent lips;
A beautiful taste of what I had missed,
Gone now into a life of what I will have to miss;
Eternal damnation is contemplating on what ifs.

They say true love does not leave its home,
You're gone again and I'm left alone.
Our love story hurts much like a broken bone;
With the chance, I may never heal in full.

In a world of expectation
Comes a rush of realization
That most aren't out for love
Only acts of fornication
Hearts ache
Lacking appreciation
Hearts break
What a trifling generation
Leading someone to fall for you
With no intention of serious relation.
All that is happening in this world
Is not truthful love
Just mere imitation.

I struggle with reality

My restless mind won’t let me be

Images I’m seeing are disgusting me

My own reflection in the mirror
Monstrosity

Simply put

It’s me

I am my own worst enemy
And these ******* thoughts

Are only

Killing

Me

Ever since we looked together
the moon will never be the same.
The dull aching light reflects into the
atmosphere, speaking nothing but your name.

At least we never had a moment together
with the sun,
Or my heart and mind would be
burned to the darkest crisp.
Well done.

Daisies dance through your eyes like tadpoles in the shallow river
The soft touch of your porcelain skin is enough to make even the toughest man quiver
The taste of your poisonous lips
Would surely make the Devils spine shiver
Honey,
I lied when I said my heart couldn't feel any love
Because you most definitely deliver

Absence makes the heart grow fonder
And I'm left here to sit and ponder
How it would feel to kiss your perfect lips
And pull you closer to my body with nothing but my hands on your hips
I wonder if you'd tell me that you've never felt any thing like this
That your hand in my hand caused you nothing but pure bliss,
But I wonder,
if when we were apart, would I be the only one that you'd miss?

There's a solemn tranquility embedded
in the gravel along this empty highway.
Wind whipping through my hair,
Destination is unknown,
But I'll know when I get there.

Life,
has become
an illness

Time;
a terminal
Deathbed
I tried black out poetry (marking out all but selected words of a random page in a random book), this was my first result.

My dying heart
Need not be followed;

For healing is a process.
