It may be your laugh,
But it was my happiness.
It may be your smile,
But it was me who was enjoying.
It may be your breath,
But it was me who was feeling alive.
It may be your hug,
But it was me who was showing affection.
And now I see how much you mean to me,
But how little I mean to you.
It may have been your break-up,
but it was me that was broken.
Sometimes, what she shows isn't what she feels.
Sometimes, what you feel isn't what you show.

I can't believe how amazing you are. You're the only person who's made me feel this special in a long time [delete]

are you sure you just want to be 'friends', I think I'm in love with you [delete]

can I have a goodbye kiss? I love your kisses, they taste like summer [delete]

I wish you would just say "Hi" to me in the hallways [delete]

that girl you always walk with is beautiful, I can understand why you didn't want me [delete]

when you told me I was beautiful and **** and all you would ever want, was that all a lie too? [delete]

I got a mosquito bite today and it reminded me of when we slept outside and were attacked by them [delete]

it smells like the nights we spent together [delete]

one, two, three...I've lost count of how many drinks are for you [delete]

I wish you thought about me as much as I think of you [delete]

why are your words stuck in my head [delete]

I was naive and young, I'm sorry I actually thought you loved me [delete]

it's been months since the summer nights we spent together. please tell me you miss me. [delete]

my chest hurts. my heart aches. everything about you from the way your lips tasted to how I got chills down my spine from just one touch makes me want to explode [delete]

the blood running down my wrist contains the words you said but never meant [delete]

lost and found
have you ever felt tired of yourself?
tired in the sense that
you just don't want to be you anymore
you don't want to be where you are
in your life anymore,
it's not that you want to die
or **** yourself.
you're just ******* tired of being you.
you want to know what it would feel like
to be someone else..
you want to know what it would seem like
to see yourself from someone else's
point of view.
but you can't just switch bodies with someone,
can you?
and if you could,
would you?
even though you're tired of being you,
wouldn't you be afraid of what you might discover
and uncover in that person's mind?
wouldn't you be scared to see their thoughts?
especially if it's someone you love,
or even someone you're in love with.
i may seem brave,
but i'm not.
i know i would be afraid,
but i know that
i'm ******* tired of being me.
it's ******* exhausting seeing the same person in the mirror every ******* day.
it's tiring having the same **** thoughts.
but if i was someone else,
it'd be different.
don't you think it would be cool,
if you could be a new person everyday?
it would be cool, i think,
but i think it would also be tiring.
because you wouldn't be stuck to one person,
you would just keep moving
and transporting
to different minds,
different bodies,
and different souls.
you wouldn't know who you are.
so no matter what,
i think you'd be tired.
so my question for you..
if you're tired of yourself,
and you had the chance to be someone else,

*would you take it?

beware when you fall in love
with an artist
be it a painter, a singer, or poet

for the artist will
paint you
with strokes and hues
in shapes of every kind

sing about you
with heartbreak lyrics
and feelings which rhyme

write about you
with the simplest words
and a secret message she wants to say

beware of the artist,
and her love
one wrong move
and you're an artwork in her display

is what i call myself
when i'm alone
when it's dark and late
when the thoughts attack me
when my hands pull at my hair
when my tears threaten to fall
as i scream out and curse your name
ever since my angel left
i have never been the same
