How easy it is to remember someone
only to be slapped with the reality
that they are no longer
there.
A sad truth....

Talk and I'll forget
Show and I'll recall
Include and I'll grasp

Small poem from my journal...
Be back soon

Lay your head on
my silken lap

with a sprig of mint
in your loose hand

Here with me
be you with me

Let your secrets
now take wing

And perch on the
branch of my soul

For you are with
your harmless half

The love shared will
soar high and proud

The secrets given
to my body the temple

My body the haven
Your secrets the treasure

Wrote this in my journal while watching the Royal Wedding.
(Congratulations to Meghan and Harry!)
Let the secrets you share with loved ones stay treasured
and sacred till the end of time.

Let my heart become
your crown.
Treasure your other half's heart, always.

I rest but don't sleep.
I eat but don't taste.
I hear but not listen.
I linger but not dream.
I rise but don't wake.
I look but don't see.
I touch but don't feel.
I'm feeling rather off waking up this morning...

Your life is a diary.
Each day is a page.
Memory is the pen.
So write your
own story.
I've been surfing the nostalgic wave lately.
I forgot how beautiful 'Diary' is by Alicia Keys.
That was my jam, and it still is!
When music still had beauty and meaning, man.
The feels are real!
Be back soon!

Patience made me a Queen
when one called me
a slave to my
faith.

I choose who I follow
I choose what I follow
I have a choice as well as will.

But thank you.
Your ignorance and lack of respect has only added to my wisdom.

Life is a marketplace where you meet all sorts of people.
In a world of diversity,
I give all respect.

When one crosses the line,
they aren't worth the time.
Right now,
I'm polishing and shining my crown.
I found myself remembering what someone used to say about me choosing to follow a faith.
And worse, they kept saying it.
So it's not something I will ever forget.
If anything, it fuels me more.
I'm friends with people from all works of life.
Some from the LGBTQ, others are atheists, agnostics, and various cultures.
We may disagree but we all respect each others opinions and not force how we feel into others' head.
But I'm grateful to have walked away from toxic people.
I can focus on me and my dream.
