Echoes Of A Mind Dec 2015
I see the yellow brick road
Right infront of me,
I dont know where it ends
And I don't know where it leads,
One foot infront of the other,
But alwas a step behind,
I walk down the yellow road,
But forgot to read the sign.

If i had
What then?
Would I still walk the path,
Keep going 'till the end?
Or would I turn around,
And slowly walk back home,
Or would i face the the trouble,
To find a place where I belong?
Just impro writing- might work more on it later

In every "opposite's attract" relationship, they say she's the yin to his yan,

He's mysterious and calm like the moon and she's electric and energetic like the sun.

But I'm a painter and I see ourselves as different colors and hues instead of objects and symbols.

You're a midnight blue; a serious yet earnest lover who parades in a facade of blankness.
.
Slowly and gently, I've peeled away the mask you wear, to reveal a sweet, loving boy I always knew was inside.

I am a vibrant yellow; playful and sweet,  illuminating the darkness in your life.

I've shine a light to your darkest corners and found the boy you hide away. I've reached out and pulled him up, showing him that he no longer needs to hide.

With taking my hand you've shown me, the trust and understanding I need, guiding me through my darkness.

Together, with your strength and my kindness, we made emeralds, raditating the world around us.

Together , with your seriousness and my sillyness, we grown shamrock, making us feel like the luckiest kids around.

Together, with you and me, we've created a forest filled with green apples, pines, olives and limes, making us feel like anything is possible.

These are the shades of you and me.

red - her lips tasted of wine and blood and all the pain she felt in her heart. she was driven by wild passion and survived solely on her intensity and strength. each breath she took was like fire; so absolute, so empowered.
orange - her hair was crafted from the bright ashes of a phoenix, kindled with streaks of gold. she always seemed to be her own lick of flame from the embers that burned in her heart to the coals that touched her soul.
yellow - her smile was light at your darkest hour, sunshine after a rainstorm. inspired by everything and nothing at all. she was the sun personified, the epitome of radiance.
green - her eyes were so deep and magnificent and ethereal, while still lit with puerility. she could look at you with those eyes and show you that she cared so passionately for you, no matter your mistakes or your faults.
blue - her skin drowned in an ocean of tears, storm after storm, each wave wracked her body. she trembled with heartrending sobs, each breath heavier than the last. her sorrow painted the depths of her, unseen to those who had not genuinely looked into her eyes.
purple - her organs were stained an ugly shade by the darkness she consumed. her hunger was insatiable. she filled her mouth with poison and swallowed it with a smile on her face. the air traveled from her bruised lungs, through her macerated throat, and out her smiling, stained lips.

Try to be happy.
I wear the color yellow.
It’s just a color.

you hated the color yellow
well, **** that

i'm reclaiming all the words i wrote about you
taking back my metaphors
i am the sun
a thousand stars glow in my eyes
i am the night sky, the morning light, a hundred secret gardens, the entire ocean, and you are no longer anything more than a sand dollar floating somewhere amidst my consciousness
and i am a million golden sunsets

you hated the color yellow
but now my hair is gold my heart is gold my eyes are gold
and i'm done letting your darkness in

Your golden hair shining in the sun
As you're bounding over the waves
Body glistening, muscles flexing as you run
The beauty of this moment rejuvenates and saves

Along the sandy shores of Lake Ontario
In the land where the sky and waters meet
We play catch with the Frisbee and crank up the car stereo
And romp until you’re panting to the beat

I remember the day  when I first met you
Among the napping huddling heap
Ignoring the others, you sat on my shoe
Pawing me, while your brothers fell fast asleep

So selfless, so smart, so easy to teach
You would whisper, and crawl, and back up and weave
Lily, my lovely, don't go, I beseech you,
Stay just a bit longer here, Lily; don't leave
My dog, Lily, has cancer in her right atrium as it turns out.  When I went to pick out a puppy, I picked up each pup individually, gave them each a little belly rub, and set each one back down.  All the pups except Lil went back to their cozy nap pile at that point. But Lily repeatedly came back, sat on my shoe, and pawed my leg. She chose me...not the other way around.

Someone’s favorite color says a lot about them.

If the color they love is blue,
They could be sad.
Or happy.

If the color they love is yellow,
They could be egotistic.
Or creative.

If the color they love is red,
They could be mad.
Or overtly passionate.

If the color they love is green,
They could be jealous.
Or hopeful.

If the color they love is purple,
They could be immature.
Or covertly heartfelt.

If the color they love is orange,
They could be impatient.
Or adventurous.

If the color they love is pink,
They could be shy.
Or romantic.

If the color they love is black,
They could be depressed.
Or determined.

One color has many different meanings.
We can try to understand someone through colors,
Or even actions they do.

But we truly cannot know how someone feels,
Until we ask them.
I know I am missing a lot of colors out of the world, but I just felt like doing the most common colors... And this is my first ever poem on here!

blue boy, blue boy
ignored by all
blue boy, blue boy
wants to die
blue boy, blue boy
tries to be strong
but, it all goes wrong

yellow girl, yellow girl
loved by all
yellow girl, yellow girl
loves her life
yellow girl, yellow girl
is as bright as the sun
but, when blue boy is the darkest blue
her yellow fades to his blue

yellow girl, blue boy
make each other smile
blue boy, yellow girl
loved one another
but, alas, blue boy was too sad
yellow girl, yellow girl
was not as bright as she was before
but, with a little blue and yellow
she turned green
so um... if you got confused basically 'blue boy' killed himself at the end. uh.. yeah sorry if this wasn't that good
And in this field of hazy blue
The con substantiality of you
Fills houses of the room
In bloom.
I am not yelling
colour me m/yellow!

I feed on happiness
Like a bright yellow sun
Mixed with with a fruity essence
Of orange
To have that smile as bright as the sun
And as fresh as an orange
