Love made me forget my worth
I am aware
I am not even your shoe's dust
We are different in every manner, you are sky high I am dust on this earth still I love you and will until my heart beats. You are my moon, I am a wolf that howls and cry but can't reach it's moon.
tired and depressed
lost and abandoned
no love
no hope
until one day i stumbled on a drink that made me feel alive
don't let the name depressant fool you
it slows my reactions the thoughts
the voices that tell me i'm worthless
alcohol was the solution i have been searching for
even better it was always there
always there.... and if i drink a little more the high lasts a little longer
i was all alone and hurt
until alcohol came and clouded everything
it was the escape i needed
and that is how i was made an alcoholic
i'm reading a psychology book.... i don't drink.
As the honey drips from his lips
not a sound
only guilt
as he felt
his emotions
slip away.....

It's hard.
Everything is so difficult.
I feel myself bending for others.
Yet not good enough because I didn't break myself for them.
I am all too much for others.
They ***** me out of their systems and purge their life of me.
As I try once more to enter their life.
I'm a passing dust speck to most.
A fly to others.
Swipe me away on another crushing day.
No one is wanted by me as much as he who I am hunting after.
He exists for fragments.
Melts away in the wind.
Slips from my grasp because of all I am is what I lack.
I just want...a lot it seems. More than what I'm given at least.

Shattered glass, endless scream,
taunting curses and horrifying dreams.
The little girl stares, her dead and clouded eyes
directed to the two arguing figures, spitting truth and lies.

She hugged her stuffed toy, as tight as she could
as she glance at the table served with cold food.
Where did it go?...she wondered,
the loving parents that held both of her hands.

Daddy, the most respectful man she knew,
was now hitting her mother, punching and kicking was now nothing new.
Mommy, the most warm and caring person she have known,
was now spouting bad words at her, with her cold eyes she've shown.

Was it worth it? To argue and yell in front of your child?
To let them see this kind of nightmare that will hunt them for life.
Fighting won't resolve anything, and spitting random curses of words will just destroy 'everything'.

Now tell me, was it worth it?
Many children have been victims of this kind of environment, and unfortunately some of them have strayed to a path they've never wanted to go through.

Empty.
Cold.
Scared.
I sit in the cage I call a body and sob in vain.
Nobody will ever hear my screams,
My pleas for help will never even reach deaf ears.
Anyone who attempts in anyway to touch my imprisoned heart will quit,
Their motivation to heal me lost once they realize the true difficulty of that task.
The barriers I have built around me are too strong.
The traps I have laid are too daunting.
The prize, too worthless.

No matter how close they come to me,
No matter how long it takes them to realize,
They all leave in the end.
They all eventually understand that the trouble is not worth it.
They understand that I am not worth it.
So they leave.
And I remain trapped, cold and alone,
Building even stronger walls out of my own frozen tears,
Sewing my heart's new holes with a thread of broken hope,
And lining my soul with the fabric of regret.

But maybe next time will be different...

Weeks ago when I tried to leave
You refuse to let me
You told me you weren't ready to let me go
I guess this time when I left for good
It didnt bother you
Since I no longer have any worth or use in your life

My life continues to end at seventy beats per minute.
Is existing the same as living?
