I want to go on a Ferris wheel
big and tall
and feed you to my feelings
kiss you because there is moonlight
I'm moonlight,
neon and sunny
I like to dangle my feet
and I'm not afraid
if I get to look at you
and we get to look up
I want to go on a Ferris wheel
but only with you
Ava Courtney May 2016
I can't describe just how I feel,
when I go round on a Ferris wheel,
the lights, they shine so bold and bright,
above the carnival grounds tonight.

My mood is uplifted into the air,
as my heart beats without a care,
I feel so free, as if I could fly,
with nothing between the ground and I.

The cool night wind flows in my hair,
the people look so small, way down there,
I hold my breath as I go over the top,
a feeling, surreal, I don't want to stop.

As fear escapes and I enjoy the ride,
I can't help but look down, over the side,
I am up among the stars and the moon,
an exciting feeling that ends, all too soon.

I'm a hamster in a wheel.
Where am I going?
Nowhere. I am going nowhere.

Thirsty...
I **** on the tube of warm water.
Hungry...
I eat  dry pellets of god knows what.
And I rely on you.
For nourishment. For my little life.
I need you.
You keep me alive.

You bought me a home-
A little cube with see-through walls.
A cell with no bars.
You gave me a bed-
A pile of scented flakes.

And through the walls I see the outside.
I see freedom.
A half inch away
But a half inch too far
The walls keep me in.

I hate you more then anything.
I despise you.

But I need you.

For water.
For food.
To clean my ****.
I need you.

I'm a hamster in a wheel
I'm a hamster in a wheel
And I'm going nowhere
nowhere at all.
This is my first poem in about a month. It's not polished but I needed to get this of me. Enjoy.

Rielly on Wheelchairs:

"Now those are my kinda wheelz"

Me on Wheelchairs:

"Control is essential"
Yet my foot is still pressed firmly
On the accelerator
"Hey look Mum, no hands!"
Just let the wheel control itself every now and then

It's fun.
You don't need to be a control freak to lead a good life
Apparently blessings soon wither
Where your star shone

Reminisce
In the darkening sky
There's a Taj Mahal!
Undulating endless
Asimetry of
Love

Floating above
The placid
Waters

One
Glimpse ~
My wet hands
Kyoto protocol
Hair in a Thankfury
Violet Versace

And your smiling coasts
Me wrapped in a black coat
Lush lucrative dynamics
Zarathustrian imperative!

Covering your manly
Shoulders

Dig a grave in my
Hollow submarine
Diminishing distance

Was I, to call your firm hand's
Grip ~a lesser degree in Hiking,
Or a postponed poetic height
Thumbs entwined. . .

Spirited as a killer
Eagles mudra
You stare at
My profile

Well ~we stand
Opposing as a lovers
Of A grand Poetic

Name surpassing the time
Awaiting, courting, questioning
Via simile to the blood under
The Bask's barret

No, the ring I've put aside,
My hands are bare tonight!

Bewildered, I´ll stumble forth
within a bright new day to
complete your sermon.

You usually brake the cliche
Walking hand in hand
With Affar Authors
With Dead Spirits
With Alive Authors
Playing dead, unknown
Within the journalists eyes..

When they whisper

Wisdoms to your son's father

When they sturm und drang my sweetest
Sister

The softest spring is coming forth and
I know where to find you. In southern sighs.
Dreamy. Uncatchable.

Playing
For one very special poetic lover of poesis.

I balance
Rotating and fixed
Upright
Suspended freely
Compelling insight
Keeps me
Remaining right side up
As I revolve in this life

Breaking the chains of
Weak slavery in my
Self created habits
I reconstruct the wheel
To appeal in an
Exercise of wisdom
Within the universal
Kingdom of resurrected
Light

I am certain to follow
My soul path as I journey
Deeper into my heart
For what I believe
Controlled not by
Useless desires
Destroyed not
By grief
Rising
Eyes wide open
In relief

I choose my trials wisely
From this moment on
I choose to learn
For the last time
Trials that no longer
Promise to teach me
Anything more
In a golden ratio
Of vibrating love
I engage the power
Of every beacon
Every tower
Resilient to
Shine

I choose to learn
For the last time
Trials that no longer
Teach me
Divine

Mental powers expanding
My cup of realization
Has the capacity
To hold an ocean
Of understanding
Awareness enlightening
Brightening knowledge
Surrounding me
In footfalls
Of cascading
Arms and light
Day and night
Day and night

I smile the indestructible smile
Within this ferris wheel
I balance
Rotating and fixed
Upright
Suspended freely
Compelling insight
Keeps me
Remaining right side up
As I revolve in this life

The milky serpents of stars above
Reveal a code of comprehension
For earth and celestial
Apprehension
A blinding
A blurring
Elements stirring
Strength

Great works of
Perseverance unfold
The beating sky beholds
An invitation opening
Beyond the gates of
Heaven and hell
Intertwined
Break the
Shell

You are the master
Of your ferris wheel

The old faucet
has lost patience
Just as I have
the fiber of its existence
drop by drop
slithering through
the revolving wheel of time
as it drops

There’s something about keeping
wounds open that feels better
than letting them heal.

To have fallen so
unexpectedly
into the company of an alluring
stranger.

The all-consuming infatuation
with those azure irises
and their blinking
benevolence.

To yearn to hear
his voice
as he unravels words unto everyone
but me.

The kisses that
have fallen at the feet
of the pedestal
he stands upon.

To hear him speak of
her
with the same desire
that I
think of him.

To watch those azure irises
stray their attention
to her golden braids.

The silence
as it becomes a knife
that--
slowly--
kills me.

Snow, sweet snow,
come again...
Laden those tree tops to their brim.
Got good gear to keep us warm,
All we need is a perfect storm.
4 Wheel drive will get us there,
find us smiling on first chair.
heaven knows we passed the tests,
Issue forth for we're all blessed.
riding on snow is the way to go.
