There are hallways
and there are rooms.
Roads connecting to homes.
Paths leading to villages.

Vacant spaces brining me to nowhere.

Veins are lines on a map,
we are more than just bodies.
We are unfolded pieces of paper
creased in the corners with relevant urge.
With crests and valleys composed of experiences
and dreams
and adventure.

I have yet to unfold.

Doors whisper,
they invite you in.
So many locks and keys
and treasure chests full of passion
of determination
of unwavering will.

I’m locked and no key has ever fit.

Footsteps are history in the making.
Artifacts.
Proof of the reason you stayed;
the reason you left.
The carved sand along the shore
making you wonder if they are running away
or going home.

I turn to only find my shadow.

Maps full
of all these hallways and rooms
and reasons
and unopened treasure chests.
Missing keys and ghostly whispers
before every door
and I begin to wonder
whether or not I was begging please
to the slurring headlights down the midnight road
or to somebody who could save me.
There comes a point when you need to realize that sleeping isn't a cure to anything.

Like forgotten cables
on the floor,
we intertwine ourselves
and can't seem to be undone.
~~ Strangle me in affection. ~~
She was in all  appearances
A brash  confident lion
Unyielding to anyone
Utterly independent

That   is   till  he  came along
In the guise of a meek lamb
A sacrificial sheep to be dominated
Not once did she doubt this

Her mask fell to let him in
And she lay in his sweet embrace
Letting him  subtly  unravel her mind
And *make
a delicate mess of her heart

She is no longer the lion she used to be
Her mane has been violently  torn apart
For he had been a predatory wolf
In the guise of a *meek lamb

is a person who moves
from one place to another
with a trusty companion,
in a group, or whatever;
no permanent homes
of which to conquer
but the heart is in union
with a special answer;
from here to there, it travels
finding comfort in every corner
hoping to someday discern
what was never thought to uncover.

Just stop
you may not know it
but you are taking me apart

Piece by piece
unraveling me with your tongue
until nothing is left

Not this
all I want is you
in every way but this one
The quiet flute
melody
ribboning through the
murk that surrounds
my heart
sings it's way in
all the way in
to the center
where it belongs
where it weaves it's way
like a water snake
amongst the tangled reeds
of my worries
and barriers
gently pulling them
from their roots
and tying them into
beautiful bundles
each with an ethereal
flutesong bow
burden-bundles
song-swept away
unravelled
one by one
lifted by the
floating echo

a life song
rests
in my core.

Empty, so unravel me.
Tell me that you see a spark beyond
these brown eyes, that have seen to little
of the world.
In want of travel, in want of love,
in love with lust, in lust with more.
Do you see the fire burning right
In the edges? A small spark
Yet with your heat, it could build up
To burn systems.
Your heat is what I need most in these stranded nights.
Your heat and that arm of yours.
Do you see something in me?
Is it why you always stay so far,
say too little, breaking whatever is
left in me?
Leaving me empty and unravelled.
Lost gems in this fast river.

Unraveling the threads
Of my tangled, sticky lies,
Tearing the delicate cloth
Of my fragile, broken life.
One by one,
The stiches pop out
Exposing the wounds
That they know nothing about.
A single salty tear
Trickles down my face
As a single crimson drop of blood
Is dripping from my wrist.
This cruel and viscious cyle
Will never have and end
As my sanity unravels,
Alone and with out friends.

i'll spend forever
picking at threads on my sweater
and listening to the wolves howl to my wild side
soon the threads will unravel
and ill be free to embrace corruption
a corrupted soul is better that the light and weary
