why do I love you?
those beautiful reasons
twinkling together
in the sunlight you bring me
giving it all so much more meaning

a small town park
nearing dusk
the glow of the sun was golden
as i listened to the ripple
of a distant lake
even then
i loved you
even then

a big city house
nearing dawn
the glitter on the floor was blinding
as we watched the sun rise
through the abyss of trees
after the party
even then
i loved you
even then

your whisper in my ear
your smile in my mind
your face oh so clear
sure is one of a kind

your heart slowly beating
as your chest rose and fell
this moment quite fleeting
i know, i can tell

as the sun hit your skin
ever so softly you sigh
a glimps of you and my heart spins
and for that i wonder why

beautiful you are
more than you think you'll ever be
though you expose your scars
you'll always be the same to me

As I sit across from you, lost in conversation and coffee
I get an unexpected feeling.
But oh, how my soul knew.
In the middle of spring, and without any warning
Sunlight rushes through.

But outside it was raining.
I was pleasantly confused.

So days and weeks I float through.
And on an ordinary Wednesday,
Lost again in conversation and coffee.
I realized... the Sunlight I feel is you.

Every morn, when the eyelids flutter with the wind...

And the first hints of divine sunlight enters the palace of my retina...

A messenger photon runs for the chamber of my soul to read me a scroll from the sun that reads:

Dear, you and I are the same in essence...
You are energy wrapped in flesh...
And I am flash wrapped in energy!

How I become overwhelmed with the news...
That flowers begin to bloom in the gardens of my cells...
And the bird of my mind takes flight to the sky... never intending to return!

Aren't some feelings too invincible to overcome?
Feeling one with everything!
Thanks for reading this! ❣

The smell of the ocean
The all consuming stench
Salt and sweat and maybe
Something along the lines of freedom

Water and sand and seaweed
Twisting and tying knots
Around feet and ankles

Blinding stunning light
Piercing and painful sunlight
...

Tasting salt and tears
A cold sweat
Blankets twisted around ankles
The dark stifling heat of night
...

I miss living
I've noticed that the more vague and chaotic my poetry is, the more people see and react to them. I think that's interesting, and it makes me really happy when people like my poems.

I want to dance with you
in the moon light,
when the time is right.

I want to dance with you
when you're loving me,
when you're carefree.

I want to dance with you
all day, all night,
until we see the sun light.

I want to dance with you
until you get tired of me,
'til you can no longer see.

I want to dance with you,
for all of
e t e r n i t y .

f.m.s.
Sometimes the only thing you need to do is dance with someone who loves you.

Loving you turned cold.
Wicked smile and glistening eyes,
Held the essence of the sunlight,
That beamed upon my heart.
Adventure through the winds that crossed our path,
Sparked the wildfire of my days,
And my slumber under the moon.
A perfect picture of the crown I once wore,
Shattered under the glassed face,
Decorated with the mark of love,
Only behind the eyes carved into stone.
Darkness brings the hollow sound of the siren,
The faded scent of the candle,
That once burned bright between us.
Days slip by as our journeys untangle,
Mine tarnished, but yours forgotten,

I used to run across the Moherian cliffs
And jump to catch the first sunlight nether wisps
As they twinkled like dawning fireflies shone
In the jar of a hopeful wish
For as just as in your hand there mine own exists
