He wasn’t a boy,
He was forty years old
But they called him boy;
A habit born of old
Bigotries and behaviors
Difficult to defend
But that doesn’t mean
They came to an end

The shoeshine boy
Mostly shined the shoes
And if anyone listened, he had
Good advice they could use.
But most read their papers
On the busy city street
And paid no attention
To the wisdom by their feet.

The people read the news
And ******* about things
And gave their confusion
Talkative wings.
One day a guy asked
Why do people do
The horrendously crazy
Things they seem to do?

The shoeshine boy looked up
And gave the man a smile
And said a pithy sentence
After a decent while.
He said it often,
Sometimes audibly,
“Most people die
Of plain stupidity.”

The fellow thought this wise
And shared it with his friends
And that’s how a catchphrase
Or idea ultimately begins.
It’s something that is simple
But makes a lot of sense
For those looking for answers
If they are not too dense.

Sometimes it’s the only answer
That seems to apply at all
When madness is afoot
And morality seems to fall;
When people waste money
On toys instead of their kids.
That is often how they take
A ride down to the skids.

If only they heeded the things
The shoeshine boy said,
They might have grown wiser
Fewer rocks inside their heads.
But instead they sided with
Maddening mediocrity
Never realizing most folks
Die of plain stupidity.

I saw people with empty eyes,
They saw stars in tv, but not in the sky.
I saw monsters inside
The figures in angels disguise.
Absence of time
Each moment is a new place.
Many will live their lives,
Without knowing themselves.

In my dreams it always begins the same,
I hear them, I feel like they are distant,
A soft voice speaks to me...whispers unknown.
It's like this place I see will vanish in an instant,
Like a mirage, a disappearing rainbow...
The other side seems so real, from another perspective,
There is this person who is answering me
In my dreams, foggy twilight everywhere...I climbed
Up high and saw the stars sparkling like diamonds
In the sky, then a vampire who seems familiar starts
To climb higher and higher...to find me, then he
Approaches and I push him away-only a fake dream,
There's no stopping me, I'm flying free, floating,
As on wings. So many spectacular things*
Then I wake up and all I can see,
All that is there is empty darkness, I can't fly,
Some waiting until I die, some day they will put out
My light and these amazing things that I dream at night.

I know each one of us has a moment in our lives,
a moment when we make regrets.
Like,
"Why the hell did I do that?"
"What was I thinking?"

And later we abuse ourselves with punishment good enough to repay for what happened.
for every single stupidity ive done in my life as a human

Not near-sighted; not far-sighted

Just blinded by stupidity
By rich inhumanity
Lack of love in society

Absence of insight; omission of outsight

Just censored curiosity
Loss of credibility
Condemned abnormality

Futures foresighted; actions unsighted

The past, no punctuality
Death by immortality
Buried from reality
There has been some contradiction and confusion on whether or not 'outsight' is actually a word. Through common knowledge and basic spellcheck, 'outsight' is not a word. But 'Dictionary.com' says that it is truly part of the English vocabulary. So believe what you want to believe.

Stupidity fuels me.

It fuels my ego.

It needs to be destroyed before I become a god.
Being the only one able to solve a problem can destroy you.

Apollyon will destroy
your mantras with the truth.
Be without fear
for all of humanity shall perish
in it's own denial

Fear not judgement
Fear not prosecution

All sheep will be herded
off the cliffs of stupidity
and burn in the fires of their intolerance
May they see the light
and be free one day.

If I can never have you

I know I can't I know I can't
You love her you love another

I'll forever have you in my dreams
hiding in my secret heart
Dreams are just like memories,
without ever feeling the reality
I will taste your echoes
On and on forever
because echoes
your echoes
are better than living at all
I love you

It took me years to get where I am at, and now I'm "nowhere"
It took me months to plan to move and now I'm "stuck here"
It took me days to come up with ideas to write poems, and now "this one stinks"-like always
It took me hours to get to sleep, and now I can't go back to sleep
And for once in my life, I just wish the world could just go away or I could just disappear and get people to *stop looking at me like that!

Stop talking to the dogs
They can't hear you

You are so stupid
Never had a career
Just sat at home
And watched the news

For thirty f** years!
What a miserable human being
You are
