She's a strange one
And sometimes I think she likes
To play dumb
And sometimes I think she likes
To play the broken little bird
And she can twist whatever words
I dare to utter
She gives you that look, like butter
Wouldn't melt
Like all that time you spent
With her means the world
And she's a transfixing girl
She can make your heart feel alive
She'll make your soul feel numb
And I'm telling you, she's a strange one.

I met a little boy
Who seemed a little strange
He was sitting in a corner
Just drawing away
He took a look at me
And laughed
"What a sight to see"

I asked him what's so funny
He looked at me again
And had one more laugh
That's when he said

I already know you
You're in my book
And all you can do
Is take a little look

I was ready for a laugh
Oh but a laugh was not in sight
I checked over it once, I checked over it twice
Oh no no, this cannot be right

I spin around, my world has changed
An echo screams "You're cursed, You're cursed"
Freaked out I run for the nearest cover, the echo again
"Too late, too late, this floor your blood shall stain"

I have nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
Stuck in his book
Just waiting to die
Well something to end my block Hehe

I may write this as a series, I don't know yet depends if I can get the second one started right :)

The strange child watches me
copies every step
when I move
he also does
and when I die
he falls.

I wondered about you
I got you
I had you
I loved you
I cried over you
And over
And over
And over
And then i lost you

yet i have you.
I see you everyday.
You tell me you love me.
Ive been through losing you.
And i can't even let go for real.

Come, stand by my side
No, there is no need to hide

Look at the world, sonny
It is not as bad, or not as funny

So much strange it may seem
But you can always find the gleam

The sunshine resides in your heart
Let it come out now & illuminate

Cautiously, take care of your feelings
Suppress them, do not let them be exposed

He loved Christmas
The cold, the sounds
How the smell of food passed
And trees weigh a thousand pounds

He smiled at the little children and the Santas
And waved at the moms
He paid his dues to the Church
And donated home made balms

He was a simple man
He loved to paint
He went home and smiled
His little home was very quaint

He went to the basement
Got out his brush and started to go
The body next to him was still
He loved the sight of blood on the snow

I once drew a woman
Destined to be strange
Her eyebrows flipped over
Her lips in her brain

An ear on her nose
And one on her chin
It's strange to think, but for all my effort
Her strangeness came out more beautiful than all my other drawings.

So I kept drawing her,
Years on when I couldn't stop
Addicted to seeing her on the pages
Addicted to her simple strange ways.

She became my muse
And I thought of her in all my work
Every word written down
Was a new name I gave to her

Every picture I carved out of ink and paper
Was another strange change of her face
She took me over and
She's the kind of girl who can't leave me.

That strange make believe girl.
True story. I drew a woman whom I wanted to be strange, but she turned out more beautiful than anything I ever drew, I still remember her.

I'll say this for you
I'm complete Jell-I around you
it's crazy
my mind goes hazy
my snappy comebacks come off as lazy

The wires in brain
start to fall once again to the strain
of trying yo control my hungry heart
and still use my brain to avoid getting torn apart

It's a never ceasing conflict
I can barely wrap my twisted head around it
maybe I should just go with the flow
but that's how we drown... ya know?

Nomadic
enigmatic
filled with emotional static
wandering away from the cold of the day
wandering away from the heart per se

Roaming away from my feelings
being frightened by what they can mean
isn't a pleasant sensation
it's the ultimate in fear
of your own feelings
**** I know
I'm in need of some kind of healing
