Like a cauldron of spice that’s been left to simmer,
The shifting dunes; of sand and all it’s golden glimmer.

It’s a taste of home and I’ve got a ticket to ride,
Flames lick the lucid leaves you’ve drained and dried.

My heart has come to realize
After the cilantro scented rain
Under coriander colored skies
Can sense the impending change

( chorus )
You make my life delicious
I crave the capsaicin of your kisses

After the cilantro scented rain
A lavender tinted breeze
Can sense the impending change
Finding the path to peace

( chorus )
You make my life delicious
I crave the capsaicin of your kisses

A lavender tinted breeze
Under coriander colored skies
Finding the path to peace
My heart has come to realize

( chorus )
You make my life delicious
I crave the capsaicin of your kisses

She was crisp in Autumn's wind.
Definite lines of beauty
set in stone,
on pavements filled
with leaves.

Her skin is cinnamon sprinkled,
and her oh just as punchy.

She was scented with spice,
her presence never a shadow
or mango-mangled mixture.
It was definite,
it was there.

She was there.

walking with you
in the october air
colored leaves
swirling around us
the taste of pumpkin spice
and whipped cream
lingers on your lips
autumn hums
her pretty song
a hand in mine
stepping on leaves
i don't think
i'll ever leave
inspired by this song

Fields flood high of corn stalks
As we drove along with the country roads
Leaves splattered pathways in a vibrant tint
Electrifying the crisp air around us
Pumpkins grinned softly
Nesting in beds of acorn heads

Fall couldn't be any better
Than watching out the window
And laying my eyes upon the setting sun
While apple cider and spice linger in the ether
Protected in your sweater

Some may say
that you are “strange”,
but why would that matter?

With over 7 billion strangers,
and each different in their own,
what, then, is peculiar?

Contrary to popular belief,
amidst meaningless meanderings,
I say:

“there is no such thing.”

They say “Variety is the ‘spice’ of life.”

A coy spice hill breeze,
Passes subtle hints on it;
Poet knows the rest!
