It started to that place
where chainsmokers lingers
liquors playing in every intestines
and songs that makes you sway.

We talk almost every night
from that moment our eyes met
we didn't even know how to start
but that was just part of talking to stranger.

This might be a start of something new
or maybe another part of growing up
and no matter how this ends
I will stay here, calmly listening.

a lot of things are overrated
     like coffee
         or pumpkin spice

but one thing that isnt
     is
  being nice

Red chillies on a rooftop garden . Some of them face the endless sky while some the moving world beneath.In life too,you need some spice.Otherwise ,just like the consequences of having a super saturated sweet which 'arrests' your mouth,life too becomes boring,only with sweet things.So sometimes I(and maybe many others) feel the need to spice up life a bit.So spend warm days and take up challenges .Set up life just as fiery as these chillies,for at the end, you're gonna have somethin' sweet!Contrast brings flavor which are but made to burst in the mouth,jist like the highs and lows,challenges and victories,sweet and pungent things of life.In many households, people start their meal with something bitter.Even they know! There's just so much between flavors and life! Enjoy them!

my grandmother
used to stand over an open flame
every cold morning.
she would fan the fire
allowing it to breath.
then she would boil the water
for the cinnamon tea.
this ritual was for  
all the men in her life.
just so they could awaken
to the smell of spice and
ignited flesh.

at least she kept warm.

strong men like to drink cinnamon tea.
they like to mix their coffee into it
every morning.
it's a beverage with double the damage.
they also enjoy dipping their tongue
in the boiling drink
so they can
sample the taste
of a woman’s burning.

my grandmother
still makes her
te de canela

every morning.

This salt is beautiful, crystallized spice
Flavor and glint
It pierces my eyes
Somewhat like a diamond
A fragment too small
Everything is added
With this grain of salt

It has the quality of the sea
Vast and wide and full

It speaks to me of life

The dead need this solution
Keeping from decay
Celebrated salt adds to everything it sprays
Pain and flavor are hand in hand with salt
A wound, and slab of meat prefer the rougher brand
The texture of the sand and sea dissolved in me

Men ‘love’ with their Muscles 
Women with their hearts
This leads to some confusion
